I just think poor Whitney who has been used by men since she was very young is a very mixed up soul, and Eastenders have played her that way to their credit continuously without any sudden character shifts. It makes sense in her mind to come back with a man she knows Mick hates to get his attention and its working. Shes always had since her abuse this mx up of a farther figure and a lover.

Shirley as usual is trying to wreck the business, she would have them all out on the street and not care as long as she could control her son.

Max.. I like that he is making them pay but he needs to be careful with Abi that girls going to kill mark my words.

Lisa .. as long as she never says the word "baby" in that annoying way she always did way back when she can carry on her mad derranged activities.

I like the Taylor family so far, the mother is funny but I wish her bra straps would stay up

Lucy Benjamin is smashing it, it was almost to disturbing to watch. Lucy deserves an award. Is woody in with Leyland and stringing Whitless along?

I do feel sorry for Lauren, Max must really hate his daughter. After all this has ended Max will be a ruined charcater just like Ian and Jane.

I enjoyed the scenes with Joyce and Dot.

Well done EE ... Shaz saw the illness in Lisa for what it was and she was maybe very right that in no small part Phil and Peggy were the route cause of it. Not that is possible to say with mental health to any real degree as the problem may have come no matter what the circumstances.

The core of it thou was Lou could see her mum meant her no harm and indeed could see in her own mixed up way was trying to protect her.

Poor whats his face taking a Police caution on behalf of his mum, alas that could cost him the chance of a lot of jobs, certainly any they require a back ground check. But no doubt he will end up at the archers.

Its a real circle, Max really screwed up his kids heads, they resented him and disowned him, now hes back to screw them over again because they did what they did because he is a vile man..this story line could go on forever.

So, out of all the weeks in the year to choose from, Whitney had to choose a date for the wedding when Ryan is away on his honeymoon.

I thought last night's episodes were excellent. Lisa was heart wrenching, I loved it that Sharon was sympathetic to her plight, Phil at least had a glimpse of the damage he's wrought (and I hope there's more to come on that). Max's storyline is intriguing and plays to Jake Wood's strengths. The Taylor's are unexpectedly great.

I agree. Whitney gets a hell of a lot of stick on other internet sites but I've always sympathised with and understood her.

A very powerful episode. I agree, I am pleased Sharon was backing Lisa and it was nice to see Louise still loving her mother. We see Phil in his true colours and yes Phil has played a huge part in Lisa's condition.

Mick is a jealous idiot and hope Linda throws the Cockney twallop out on his ear along with the deluded Whitney. Can we swap Mick for Woody? I did feel for Keanu. Reminds me a bit of the Damon Grant storyline in Brookside.
