I will have to find it on catch up and see!

YES, I DEFINITELY SEE A DEAD END STREET SIGN RIGHT BESIDE PHILS CAR AS HE GETS IN AND DRIVES RIGHT, SO HOW DOES HE GET OUT OF THE "DEAD END"??????
Fridays episode 5th, about 3 mins into the episode, the workmen step aside to let PHil drive off to a "Dead ENd"

Kellie and Shona were very good in the 3 hander, Danny Dyer was okay, but seemd to be going though the motions. Glad Linda threw Whitney out. EastEnders was the better soap tonight, no quesiton, just a shame it had another clash with Emmerdale.

I felt Danny didnt like this turn for Mick, the gezzers being emasculated by his mum his wife and his would be lover. All are having a pop, ridding over him and blaming him for all the wores and corruptions they have brought on themselves.

It has to asked which was the marriage destroying act, Linda being away for 8 months and selling off the pub without Micks permission or one lonely guy kissing a lady once be he was craving affection because of the above.

Lindas twisted blame of Whitney for poor judgements of her son where evil, didnt Whitney pay enough when she became his punching bag.

That's the problem with a 2, 3 hander, unlike itv soaps that are 22 minutes long, you have 27 minutes of EE to fill.

I agree, I don't think Dyer was keen on this storyline, he made it clear about his relationship with Linda and what he wanted for the characters and they have gone against this. It is similar as another poster has said to the storyline in Emmerdale with Zac, Lisa and Joanie. Both actors who play Zac and Lisa were less than impressed with the storyline and at times it showed in Steve's performance as Zac.

I think some times the script writers run out of ideas and go against the character and at times don't have a scooby. I suppose that's the nature of soap, a sausage factory keeping churning out the stuff week in week out and now we are currently getting 7 episodes of Emmerdale and soon 6 episodes of Coronation St a week, things are only going to get worse. The only good thing is EastEnders is staying at 4 episodes a week, I don't think the show could cope with anymore episodes right now and the BBC realise this.

What do we think Linda's big secret is then? I'm thinking along the lines she's had a baby? she mentioned been away for nearly 8 months, she wouldn't of been showing then and she has now had the baby and possibly had it adopted???
