    The episode left me a bit cold. I was not impressed with the nonsense in the pub.

    Understated subtle direction. Loved the night scene and even the opening credits were a nice touch. A Class act. It was Steve McFadden that started me off crying again. Only niggle continuity announcer at the end ruining the mood, the PSB message could have waited until the end credit had rolled.

    I would have thought that George would be more interested in someone Linda's age. He sounds very fishy and Nish let him off.

    It was very well done final episode, so sad, black opening and end credits

    I would be inclined to say she hadn't met him then. From what I can gather George and his daughters were living abroad for a while. Elaine must have sold her pub by then and moved abroad.

    a fast romance, linda didn't know her mum sold up her pub and moved abroad but did elaine buy the vic with sale of her pub
