It looks as though Jay has lost his way which isn't surprising, I wonder where his story will end up? I think you are right re Ben and Paul and the tattoos. It will break Pam and Les heart.

I think it is effective having the incident happen off screen, it will be interesting to see how the story unfolds. I hope we don't get spoilers for upcoming episodes.

I thought there was a better balance tonight of light and heavier scenes. Really liking Belinda. Gillian Taylforth was awful tonight, simply awful and Johnny would never have said those things to Lee about "happy pills" bad writing again letting EastEnders down

So sad. I pity his poor mom. She only just got the courage to go and see him, and now he's dead. I dread to think how Pam and Les are gonna react.

even without any id on him was it right the doctor to say "ben" was dead to phil and ian without fully confirming victim's identity, police could fingerprint

There are some lovely little bits of humour coming through in EastEnders right now. Denise and Belinda were funny in the minutemart.

Poor Pam and Les, my heart was breaking for them, some great acting

Did Ben and Stephen ever interact, I don't think I even remember them speaking but now Stephen is in the thick of it worrying for Ben
