    Oo! There's an interesting thought!

Yes she was away 8 months ..

I don't know why Whitney told him she loved him, or why he told Linda he loved someone else.

It was all a bit of a waste of energy for the scriptwriter.

What happens next? Whitney gone from the pub and everyone wants to know why? Linda leaves and goes back to her secret?

Yeah you could be onto something Melons.. she did come back for her 40th, but couldnt rush off quick enough.

In the three hander she was obsessed with the kiss and blaming Mick, every time he had a valid point she would say, what are you laying this on me now, how dare you etc, typical deflection. I mean she was looking for an excuse to end it with him and had originally deceided it would be Bea but Whitney was a real gift in my books. I think her line about how they married to young and she should of let Mick roam the field before they hooked up said more about her than him.

Yep... EEis struggling to keep its audiance with 4 epps a week they couldnt do more, but then its got to be remembered their epps are at least 10 mins longer as they have no add breaks.

Johnny said he was staying at a mate's house, and Shirley and Tina went out to give Linda and Mick some space.

It has to asked which was the marriage destroying act, Linda being away for 8 months and selling off the pub without Micks permission or one lonely guy kissing a lady once be he was craving affection because of the above.

Lindas twisted blame of Whitney for poor judgements of her son where evil, didnt Whitney pay enough when she became his punching bag.
Sorry Splashy, but I don't agree that Mick has been emasculated by the women in his life. Yes, Linda's been away for eight months (looking after her sick mother for all of that time—or at least so he thinks), but she was only an hour away and he's surrounded by family. I'm not saying that Linda, or any of the others, are innocent (I think it was terrible that they sold the freehold from under him for instance), but neither is he. He's a bit of a bully who makes everything about himself, and is too stubborn to ask for help when he needs it. He treated the depressed Lee appallingly (even though I understand that some of Lee's actions would be very hard to forgive). He stood there and allowed Linda to assault and chuck Whitney out when he knows he's just as guilty, and that he's the one who wouldn't let their attraction go.

Basically, everyone's to blame for the situation—including that martyr Mick.

I thought the three hander was OK, and yes Kellie and Shone were both excellent as usual.

Danny Dyer's been phoning it in for a while now. I can understand it if he doesn't like the storyline, but if his acting has deteriorated for that reason then someone needs to remind him that he's a professional and to pull his socks up. He's gets paid enough, for goodness sake.

I'm hoping John Yorke will revert Mick back to the nice guy he was when he first moved to Albert Square. He seemed liked a real breath of fresh air at the time.

No, I've got a vague memory of that happening.
