Jessie Wallace has dashed the hopes of Kat and Alfie Moon fans by confirming that EastEnders spin off Redwater has been axed and won’t be returning for a second series. The Ireland based drama saw Kat find her murderous long lost son and at the end of the final episode, both her life and her husband’s were hanging in the balance.

Didn't watch any of it. They bigged it up too much and left it too long.

I watched a few episodes, but gave up. Surprised what they go away with in it, at the time it aired.

I shall miss it, very good drama. So annoying when we only get 1 series of a new drama. I'm sure in this case the clash with Emmerdale didn't help.

It shouldn't, but I feel it still does.
