Neighbours newcomer Ned will​ give his father Brad some rather upsetting home truths in today's episode (May 11).

The latest preview clip shows the estranged pair having a heated showdown, as Ned challenges Brad over his shortcomings as a father.

Ned's ongoing feud with Brad will ultimately result in him deciding to leave Erinsborough, despite desperate pleas from both his sister Piper and Lauren.

With Ned and Brad set to be torn apart forever, Lauren will make a last ditch attempt to reunite them as she reveals that it was Beth who kept them apart when he was younger. Will this be enough to make Ned stay?

Either way, a permanent Brad and Ned reconciliation isn't looking all that likely seeing as Ben Hall recently confirmed that Ned will only be in the show temporarily​.

Discovery Ned planted a smooch on Lauren floors poor Brad.

The truth comes out when Piper (Mavournee Hazel) overhears Ned (Ben Hall) and Lauren (Kate Kendall) arguing about the imtimate moment.

“Lauren feels uncomfortable about not coming clean to Brad,” Kate, 42, says.

When Piper confronts them about the kiss, she insists Brad (Kip Gamblin) be told what happened.

Unable to keep it a secret any longer, Ned and Lauren confess about the lip-lock.

I'm with you on that one - one of my favourite storylines on Neighbours at the moment. I'd actually like Ned and Lauren to get together and get Brad back with Terese.

Terese is better off without Brad and so is Lauren, no chemistry between any of them especially Lauren and Brad
