Neighbours newcomer Nene Williams will resort to some rather dubious tactics later this month as she becomes eager to prove her competence as a nurse.

Nene (Ally Fowler) made her debut on the soap last week, surprising her daughter Amy with her unexpected arrival.

However, it will soon become clear that she is hiding a rather dark secret when a former nursing colleague of hers threatens to tell Karl Kennedy the truth about her. Knowing that the revelation would destroy her rekindled relationship with Amy, Nene decides to concoct a scheme to stop it happening.

After gaining access to Karl's email, Nene sends a reply and then gets a friend of hers to call Karl, pretending to be the colleague.

Doug is unwittingly dragged into Nene's plan to prove her worth.

Fighting to prove her worth as a medical professional, Nene manufactures a crisis with Doug in a bid to show Karl just how good she can be. Her plan works a treat as Karl is impressed by her care and competence, and he's even more roped in when she flatters his musical skills!

Although a suspicious Susan urges her husband to challenge Nene, he is left startled when Doug begins calling Nene 'Pam'. Everyone is unaware that Nene is actually the source of Doug's confusion, but could her scheming have devastating repercussions?

t looks like Nene isn't the only one scheming on Ramsay Street as Aaron Brennan starts to fall under manipulative Tom Quill's spell.

Tom is the son of Lassiters manager Julie and the hotel's development manager, and he will use Aaron in order to uncover secret information about the business.

Although Tom has shown a romantic interest in Aaron, his true intentions start to become clear when he hears some bad news about the development.

Later, Tom asks Aaron to send him a list of the people opposing the development, but Aaron sticks to his senses and resists.

    Monday

Sheila finds Xanthe hiding out in The Waterhole and the troublesome teen admits that she believes she's responsible for the food poisoning. Feeling indirectly responsible, Sheila urges Xanthe to make it right with Lauren. When Xanthe confesses, a furious Lauren laments that the arrangement with Sheila was bound to end in tears.

As a consequence of the disastrous event, Paul is delighted to discover that Sonya has awarded the official hosting of Citizen of the Year ceremony to Robinsons.

Meanwhile, Josh reveals that Brodie was kicked off his scholarship, after a "bad break-up" caused him to crash and burn. Piper blames herself for his downfall, until Paige reminds her that Brodie is responsible for his own behaviour. When Josh convinces Brad to take Brodie on, Piper realises she's going to have cope with him being back in her life.

Elsewhere, when Nene hears that an old nursing colleague has emailed Karl, wanting to talk to him about her, she panics. Nene calls a friend and admits if that Karl does speak to the nurse, it will destroy everything she has worked towards with her daughter.

    Tuesday

When Jimmy hurts his arm in a game of backyard cricket, Amy has every faith that Nene will be able to treat him. However, Kyle clocks Nene's hesitation when she is given the call to action. When she makes some questionable treatment choices, Kyle manages to convince Amy to take Jimmy over to Karl just to be on the safe side. Karl confirms that Nene's method was unusual, but assures Kyle that Nene's ex-colleague spoke very highly of her skills as a nurse.

A concerned Susan overhears and wonders if Karl is really sure he can trust this ex-colleague's opinion. Nene is being employed as Doug's carer and Susan would hate to think of Doug getting sub-par care. Karl agrees to keep an eye on Nene - just in case.

Meanwhile, Piper is slowly getting used to the idea of Brodie being in the area, but she's floored when Terese invites him to live with them in the same house. However, when Brodie makes a move on Piper and she responds, it looks like their romance is already back on.

Elsewhere, Paul feels sorry for Steph and so uses what little money he has made from Robinsons' first week of profit to pay a PI to get information on Philippa Hoyland. As it turns out, her record is clean, except for a bitter ex-husband. Does he hold the key to helping Steph gain access with Charlie?

    Wednesday

Mediation day has arrived and Philippa manages to turn the screws, highlighting Steph's failures and tearing apart Sonya's character reference. Backed into a corner, Steph is tempted to call on Philippa's ex-husband as a witness, but Toadie convinces her not to play dirty. Steph agrees, only to get a shock as Philippa calls on her next witness - Lucas Fitzgerald.

All looks lost, until Lucas surprises everyone by speaking in support of Steph's claim. Having briefly lost his son thanks to Steph, he knows what both sides are facing and he urges compromise. Will this be a plea that resonates with Philippa?

Meanwhile, Nene is uneasy as she realises that Karl is scrutinising her work with Doug. Eager to guarantee her job, Nene manufactures a crisis with Doug. Pulled away from a birthday brunch with Susan, Karl is initially cautious, but he can't help but be impressed by Nene's care and competence. It's a dynamic fuelled by her flattery of his musical skills. Finding them together, Susan quickly joins the dots and confronts Karl with his blind spot - vulnerable women flattering him to win his favour.

Elsewhere, Amy discovers the card Georgia sent Kyle for his birthday that he discarded. She reads it and discovers, to her dismay, that Georgia wants Kyle back. Rather than coming clean with Kyle, she gets rid of the letter.

    Thursday

Amy is feeling guilty about her decision to keep the contents of Georgia's letter from Kyle. Sheila advises her to let it go and move on, but Amy seeks reassurance from Kyle, reminding him that he's still technically married. Kyle realises he should get on with formally divorcing Georgia and thinks he should give her a call to discuss it, but Amy freaks - the last thing she wants him to do is speak with Georgia.

Later, driven by her own insecurity and wanting to stake a formal claim on Kyle, Amy spontaneously proposes. How will Kyle react?

Meanwhile, Paige confronts Steph about the nature of her friendship with Mark. Steph puts Paige in her place, insisting that it's none of her business. When Steph informs Mark that Paige was asking questions, Mark wants to call Paige on her hypocrisy, but Steph advises against it.

Elsewhere, Aaron gives Tom some bad news - the Lassiters development approval could take another couple of months. Tom says they need approval now or they'll be in trouble with their investors. He asks Aaron to send him a list of the people opposing the development. Aaron resists, and Tom is seemingly understanding. However, when things heat up between them, is Tom's interest in Aaron as genuine as it seems?

Also today, Imogen admits her unwanted attraction to Tyler.

    Friday

An uneasy Tyler suggests to Daniel that he and Imogen should take their relationship further by moving in together. Daniel is instantly taken with Tyler's suggestion, admitting that he and Imogen haven't had much couple time lately and living together could be just the solution. He wastes no time putting the idea to Imogen, whose response is oddly lukewarm. When a furious Imogen confronts Tyler for his interference, he challenges her - if she's not ready to settle down, she'd better tell Daniel.

Later, after confiding in Terese, a torn Imogen decides to come clean with Daniel...

Meanwhile, Aaron is given access to the list of complainants to the Quill development and realises he could have an opportunity to help Tom. Acting on impulse, he snaps a photo and sends it to Tom. When Sonya later tells Aaron that a number of businesses have suddenly withdrawn their original opposition to the development, Aaron can see that his spontaneous act has seriously compromised his ethics.

Elsewhere, Brad is given a stark reminder of Doug's condition when Doug emerges from a nap and has no idea who Brad is.

Has it been confirmed that Kyle dies?
I know he's leaving, but I'm just wondering, because I get the feeling Chris would be open to returning one day.
Another storyline could be he chooses to get back with Georgia? Just pure speculation though!

I have read that he dies in the Lassiters explosion but not sure if that will come true or is fantasy from the source

Haha was thinking the same thing. Given that he has some good days, I'm not sure why she wouldn't want to be with him while he still remembers her. Plus having Doug away from his home wouldn't be helping his illness, especially when Brad was living at one house on Ramsay St, then at a different house. No wonder why the poor man is confused.
