    MONDAY

It?s nearly three months since Nicola was viciously attacked by a gang of girls in a car park, but so far no one?s been caught.

Poor Nicola?s been so traumatised by the attack that she hasn?t been the same since and has been suffering from bouts of PTSD?

So when Naomi, the daughter of village vicar Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin), started work at the cafe last week, Nicola was shaken to the core when she recognised the newcomer?s voice and trainers from the day of the traumatising attack?

Nicola?s hoping to see justice being done at last, but is left disappointed when local bobby Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) delivers the news that there isn?t enough evidence to prosecute Naomi.

So she decides to take matters into her own hands?

Charles is stunned when Nicola chastises him for his daughter?s actions and he?s horrified by Nicola?s threat to not only end his career but that of his partner, Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker)!

Then she lays into Naomi and demands that she tell the truth.

Can Nicola get Naomi to come clean about her involvement in the attack?

Sandra Flaherty (Joanne Mitchell) is still trying to drive a wedge between her daughter Liv Dingle (Isobel Steele) and her son-in-law Vinny (Bradley Johnson).

She wants to get Vinny out of the way as part of a grand plan to get her sticky mitts on the money that Liv inherited from her dad.

After seeing how well Vinny and Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) get on, Sandra has planted seeds of doubt in Liv?s mind about the future of her marriage.

Bringing up Liv?s asexuality, Sandra pointed out how it could cause problems for the couple and then raised doubts over Gabby and Vinny?s relationship.

With Sandra getting in her head, Liv?s now worried that she?s going to lose Vinny to Gabby?

Meanwhile, after telling Gabby how Liv and Vinny are having marriage problems. Sandra convinces her to speak to Vinny?

When Gabby questions Vinny on his sex life, there?s an awkward moment when he reveals how he?s never had sex.

Liv?s shocked when she spots the awkwardness between her hubby and Gabby?

But it seems Sandra?s plan may have hit a stumbling block, when Liv calls her out for manipulating the situation.

That doesn?t stop her from finding another way to split up the couple though?

Later, she tells her partner in crime Terry (Neil Bell) that she plans to disrupt her daughter?s hard-won sobriety?

Meanwhile, Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) is feeling guilty after cheating on Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) last week.

When Mack receives a message from a mystery number telling him that their secret?s safe, Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) is shocked to learn that he slept with someone local?

    Who could it be?

    TUESDAY. FOOTBALL

    WEDNESDAY

It seems there isn?t anything that Sandra won?t do for money.

Back in July, a thug called Terry (Neil Bell) turned up in the village claiming that Sandra owed him ?4,000, so Liv and Vinny paid him off? but it later turned out that he was in cahoots with Sandra and the scheming pair split the money between them!

On top of that, we?ve also seen Sandra blackmailing poor Rishi Sharma (Bhasker Patel) over their one-night stand and helping herself to the tips jar at the beauty salon where she works.

Sandra knows her daughter is sitting on a pile of money inherited from her dad, Gordon, and she?s desperate to get her sticky mitts on Liv?s cash?

As she said a few weeks ago, she wants to rinse the girl of every penny!

Although she?s managed to convince Liv that she?s a reformed character who?s determined to stay sober and make a life for herself, Vinny?s had his suspicions about his mum-in-law?s true motives right from the start.

So now Sandra needs to get Vinny out of the picture to make it easier to manipulate Liv and get to the golden egg, as it were?

She?s already tried to drive a wedge between the couple by planting seeds of doubt in Liv?s mind about the future of her marriage?

With Liv being asexual, Sandra tried to insinuate that Vinny was being tempted to stray by Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham).

Unfortunately, that plan seems to have failed so now Sandra?s playing on Liv?s alcoholism?

Liv?s been sober for ages now, but Sandra knows that just one sip of the demon drink could tempt her back into her old ways?

And that could cause major ructions between Liv and Vinny.

When the mother and daughter are in the pub, Sandra seizes the opportunity to sneakily switch Liv?s alcohol-free beverage for a similar drink with booze in it!

Liv recoils when she takes her first sip? and begins to worry about what it might mean for her. Could it send her spiralling back into alcoholism?

Meanwhile, Sandra can?t resist using it to stir things between Vinny and Liv?

When Vinny confronts Liv, she ends up storming off in a rage?

As Sandra watches on, a smile creeps onto Sandra?s face?

Is her plan starting to work?

Meanwhile, as Naomi Walters (Karene Peter) refuses to go to the police and provide the names of the other girls who were there on the night of the attack, Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) berates Charles Anderson (Kevin Methurin) for siding with his daughter.

With Nicola determined to get retribution, the vicar?s worried about what she will do next?

Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) and his sister Chas Kirk (Lucy Pargeter) have decided that their terminally ill mum Faith (Sally Dexter) has to be supervised if she wants to see her grandkids.

As well as displaying some erratic behaviour, Faith collapsed a few weeks ago and woke up in hospital confused and unable to see? so her son and daughter are worried that something terrible will happen if she?s left alone with their kids.

Not one to do as she?s told, Faith plots a way to see her grandchildren Kyle Winchester (Huey Quinn) and Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) and have some fun?

And the kids get a big surprise when their gran surprises them with a chameleon she?s stolen from the vets!

Unfortunately, the colourful creature escapes and Faith?s plan soon unravels when it turns up on the bar of The Woolpack!

Failing to see the funny side, Chas and Cain aren?t happy about their mum?s latest stunt and as Faith begs them not to stop her making memories with her grandchildren they are adamant that she can?t see their kids without supervision.

Faith accepts their decision but she?s upset to realise that she?s being denied yet another of life?s pleasures because of her illness?

    THURSDAY

As the Dingles struggle to come to terms with the fact that Faith is terminally ill, it?s clear that her cancer is beginning to take over and it?s only a matter of time before she will have to relinquish control of her own life when she?s no longer able to make decisions for herself.

Should the situation arise, Faith decides that she doesn?t want to be resuscitated and wants Cain to have lasting power of attorney.

It?s a lot for Cain to take on.

It?s not that long ago since Cain made peace with his mum for leaving him and Chas with their dad, violent drunk Shadrach, when they were kids.

After seeking advice from legal eagle Ethan Anderson (Emile John) about the power of attorney form, Cain goes to see Faith and finalise the details of her dying wishes?

But as they do, a distressed Faith becomes confused and believes Cain is Shadrach!

Grabbing a frying pan, Faith brandishes it at her son and screams in terror as she tells him to get away from her?

Will a shocked Cain manage to calm down his mum before the situation escalates?

Naomi Walters (Karene Peter) has only been in the village for five minutes and she?s already bagged herself a hunk but the fledgling romance is soon nipped in the bud when said hunk Nate Robinson (Jurrell Carter) confronts her about her role in the vicious attack on Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler).

Nate ends things with Naomi, but soon begins to wonder if he?s been too harsh.

Meanwhile, with Naomi still refusing to go to the police and tell them everything she knows about the attack, including the names of the other girls involved, Nicola?s dad Rodney Blackstock (Patrick Mower) can?t believe that Ethan is supporting his sister, especially when his daughter is still traumatised by the attack and struggling to cope?

Ethan feels awful that Nicola is still in a bad place, but what can he do?

Sandra Flaherty (Joanne Mitchell) is quietly pleased that she?s caused ructions between LIv (Isobel Steele) and Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) as she continues with her plan to split them up?

Her latest ruse has been to play on her daughter?s alcoholism by tricking Liv into drinking an alcoholic drink. It was only a sip but it has caused Liv and Vinny to have a major falling out.

Things aren?t helped either when Vinny?s mum Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) finds out that Liv has had alcohol and is unable to hide her concern.

As Liv remains oblivious to her manipulative mum?s true intentions, Sandra suggests that they should go on a trip together?

Uh-oh. The last time they were away together it didn?t end well?

Liv?s hit rock bottom before, so is she headed that way once again?

    FRIDAY

It?s been a week since Nicola King realised that Naomi Walters was there on the night that she was attacked by a gang of girls in a car park.

Nicola went to the police but was disappointed when village bobby Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) told her that they didn?t have enough evidence to prosecute Naomi.

Desperate to see justice being done, Nicola took matters into her own hands by threatening to ruin the careers of Naomi?s dad Charles Anderson (Kevin Methurin) and his partner Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) unless Naomi told the truth.

She?s even confronted Naomi and tried to do the right thing and go to the police, but to no avail.

Naomi?s standing firm. She?s got no intention of going to the police.

Meanwhile, Nicola?s still struggling following the traumatising attack and has been suffering bouts of PTSD.

When her dad Rodney Blackstock (Patrick Mower) wades in and has his say, pointing out how the attack has taken a terrible toll on his daughter, Ethan feels awful for Nicola.

Can Ethan convince Naomi to do the right thing and come forward to the police?

There was a time when Chas Kirk (Lucy Pargeter) hated Al Chapman (Michael Wildman) but it?s amazing how things can turn around in soapland because the pair are now embroiled in a torrid affair and enjoying passionate trysts in fancy hotels!

As her husband Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) remains oblivious to what?s going on, Chas is loving her intimate getaways with Al, but the ?L? word, not so much.

When the pair are post coital in bed, Al confesses his love for Chas, which makes her want to run for the hills, of which there are plenty in the surrounding area of Hotten or Leeds or wherever the heck they are!

Later, Al reiterates the sentiment, telling Chas that he didn?t say it in the heat of the moment, he really does love her.

What was an affair has become a bit more serious.

Will Chas start to fall for Al too?

Emmerdale has been confirmed to air this Sunday (September 11) after being taken off the air on Thursday and Friday due to the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

British TV schedules are constantly changing at the moment as broadcasters replace regular shows with specials, tributes and extended news coverage focused on the late monarch, but ITV has announced it is dedicating a Sunday evening slot to Emmerdale to allow viewers to catch up.

Airing at the earlier time of 6.35pm ? and replacing Celebrity Lingo with RuPaul ? is the hour-long Thursday, September 8 instalment.

The Friday episode was set to be an hour long as well, but it's not been announced when that will air, and whether it will be aired in one go or be split in to two episodes.

Following the rare Sunday Emmerdale is the regularly scheduled duo of Gino's Italy: Like Mama Used to Make and Ridley at 7.30pm and 8pm, respectively.

Outside of these three shows and the news and weather updates throughout the day, all of ITV's Sunday schedule will be dedicated to the late Queen and/or King Charles III. No advertisements will run during the royal coverage, and it will run until the state funeral, at least.

As far as tonight (September 10) is confirmed, The Masked Dancer and The Voice UK are going ahead as originally planned.

Further scheduling changes are sure to come over the next few days, and Digital Spy will keep you updated.
