    UK TV Awards Season 2016

    NTA'S NATIONAL TELEVISION AWARDS 2016

    Can't see a thread for the awards tonight, apologises if there are.


    Will it be EastEnders night? or will Emmerdale be triumphant???

    My Predictions for tonight:

    Best Soap Newcomer: Shayne Ward
    Best Soap Dramatic performance: Michael Parr
    Best Soap: EastEnders

    I would like:

    Best Soap Newcomer: Parry Glasspool
    Best Soap Dramatic: performance: Rakhee Thakrar
    Best Soap: EastEnders.

    I think Danny Dyer and Rakhee may split the EE vote? If Rakhee doesn't get it I hope Alison King does for CS.

    its a tough one because as Danny Dyer has been consistently strong it is Rakhee for me as she has had the raw emotional scenes to deliver and certainly has brought me to tears more than once....?

    I'm not sure who the nominees are, but I agree about Rakhee Thakrar and EastEnders winning (I'm not an Emmerdale or Hollyoaks viewer).

    Shayne Ward is perfectly acceptable playing Aidan, but I think the other Best Newcomer nominees would have to be weak for him to win. He could of course win just because he's a name and because he's pleasantly surprised everyone with his acting.

    At the end of the day its a popularity contest and not always to do with talent. Pleased EE won, but shame ED and HO didn't get a look in.

    i like danny but feel he aint doing alot of acting on eastenders just playing himself

    felt shabham and ross actors more worthy
