I hope Brad's family news isn't that Doug has died or something like that…

Brad and Lauren don't belong together ..... there was no love, just lust when he got off with her (which brought about Paige) ..... since then, its just midlife crises one after the other with him. She just looks like a child who wants the biggest lolly pop in the sweetshop and gets a sulk when she cant have what she wants .... wonder where Paige got her attitude from !!!

Lauren made Matt feel like second-hand goods - no wonder he went off the rails at the end .... she couldn't even give his passing a respectable time before she went chasing Brad.

Its all to incestuous to be healthy - especially after Amber was equally flaky with Josh. She didn't even give it a thought that Daniel might be in trouble on her wedding day, just jumped into bed with Josh.... shows how unstable her mind is.

Yes ... its a soap ..... but come on ...... the story line is just weak writing to give the actors something to do .....

That's what Doug thought/wants, but as far as I'm aware it is Lauren and Brad he ends up staying with, after much persuasion

    Monday

Life gets even worse for Paul when his ex-wife Lyn Scully arrives in town. She immediately takes Paul to task for his recent mistreatment of Steph, but he blames his actions on Steph's crazy ex-girlfriend. This is news to Lyn, who just assumes that Paul is making trouble. Steph is taken by complete surprise to see her mother in town and is put on the spot when Lyn complains about Paul's "lies" regarding Belinda. Steph admits the truth to Lyn - she and Belinda were in a relationship.

Lyn soon reveals her true reason for landing in Erinsborough - Sonya called and told her that Steph was upset over the Charlie situation. Will Steph welcome Lyn's insistence on helping her through this?

Meanwhile, Paul's memory is soon jogged over a wedding gift that he gave to Lyn - shares in an obscure mining company. He is amazed and excited when he discovers the shares are now worth a substantial amount of money - and so begins his plan to schmooze Lyn out of ownership.

Elsewhere, Xanthe is bunking down in an empty display home. She encounters Piper and the two girls quickly strike up a friendship, deciding to throw a party at the display home and charge people money to enter. The noise attracts the attention of the police and Xanthe is rounded up by Mark, who takes her straight home to Sheila.

    Tuesday

Paul begins to bond with Lyn and feels like he is inching closer to the shares he is so desperate to get his hands on. He even goes as far as approaching Steph to help broach peace between mother and daughter.

However, when Paul lays on the charm a tad too much, Lyn grows suspicious and begins to realise that Paul has an ulterior motive. At the eleventh hour, Lyn flips the switch and manages to trump Paul, beating him at his own game. How will he handle yet another loss?

Meanwhile, Xanthe distracts herself with Bossy, which causes her to come to blows with her new brother Kyle. When Kyle goes too far and tells Xanthe that she isn't wanted, Xanthe is devastated. With that on her mind, Xanthe refuses to go back to school.

Elsewhere, Sonya discovers that under the rule of the new acting Mayor, the lovelocks are to be taken down. Being the brainchild of Callum, she won't let this happen and ties herself to the bridge in protest. Karl later suggests something crazy - Sonya should run for Mayor in the next election. Will she go for it?

    Wednesday

Steph is stunned to find out that the shares Lyn put in trust for her before she went to jail are worth $70,000. When Steph confronts Paul over trying to seduce them out of Lyn, she discovers that he wanted them to lease a run-down motel, turn it around and make a fortune. This has Steph contemplating what to do with her windfall.

Wanting to make a solid future for her and Charlie, Steph realises that all other options will give her a limited return and she asks Paul to explain what his vision is. Steph is impressed, but when she mentions to Lyn and Toadie that she is contemplating going into business with Paul, they are horrified.

Meanwhile, Paige bags the stolen goods to take to the charity bin. She is busted by Mark, but he buys Paige's cover story and offers to help her dispose of them. When Paige informs Paul, he points out the flaw in her plan - if she gives the police an anonymous tip-off now, chances are that Mark will hear about it and the stolen goods will lead back to her. Realising he is right, Paige hurries back to the charity bin to move them but is horrified to find the bin is now empty.

Elsewhere, the bond between Xanthe and Piper grows when they both face nightmare days at Erinsborough High.

    Thursday

Paige is forced to abandon her efforts to track down the stolen goods when the hens party in her honour gets under way. Imogen and Aaron have planned a hens and bucks challenge, with Paige and Mark themed challenges for the guests. Mark is there to enjoy the party with his beautiful fiancé, but Paige is consumed with guilt and anxiety.

Lauren can see that her daughter isn't getting into the mood, and Paige confides her fear that it's only a matter of time before Mark finds out what a messed-up person she really is. Concerned, Lauren urges Mark to have a word with Paige. What will she tell him?

Meanwhile, Brad and Lauren are drawn the same fun challenge at the party. Brad points out to Lauren that fate keeps bringing them together, but if they blow their chance this time, he's not sure they'll get another. Will Lauren say yes when he begs her to reunite with him?

Elsewhere, Daniel is less than impressed when Imogen flirts up a storm in pursuit of her own challenge. This leads to a squabble which has surprising results.

Also today, Aaron jokes that Kyle and Amy will be the next couple to walk down the aisle. Kyle offends Amy when he refutes the suggestion a little too quickly.

As Paige and Mark's party winds down, Tyler and Courtney share a kiss

Finally, Piper doesn't hide her distress when she comes across Tyler kissing Courtney.

    Friday

A loved-up Imogen has spent the night with Daniel. When Brad emerges with Lauren, Imogen's bliss turns to shock as she learns that the couple have reunited and are moving back in together.

Imogen warns Brad to tell Terese before she hears the news from someone else. Determined to make things right, Brad promises he will - but how will Terese react to the news?

Meanwhile, Josh tells Brad that Doug has taken a turn for the worse with his Alzheimer's. Brad talks with his mum and learns that she has decided to put Doug in a home, despite the fact that he refuses to go. Seeing how much Brad is hurting, Lauren suggests that Doug should move in with them. Will Brad accept Lauren's offer so soon after their reunion?

Elsewhere, a loved-up Amy and Kyle start having problems in the bedroom when an overprotective Kyle refuses to let Bossy out of his sight. Amy confides in Steph, revealing that whenever they try to get physical, she can feel Bossy's eyes on them.

Also today, Lyn returns to the Street again but Steph is shocked when she sees who her mum has brought back with her.

Finally, Piper bitterly tells Tyler that he did her a favour choosing Courtney over her.
