I think that getting rid of him - 2022/3, sometime around then - will win Corrie the award as everyone will vote for them out of relief that at last they've git rid of him and the most ridiculous interminable story ever to grace British soap television.
Of course, Britain still has some way to go to match Bobby in the shower or Fallon and the flying saucer, but we're getting there....

There must be a reason they suddenly got Kevin to dump her like a hot brick. Owen will definately be back.
Is she even appealing?
I thought Gary and Faye would want her appealing

if she would stop screaming and shouting we may be able to see her attractive side
Coronation Street revisits Anna Windass's storyline next week, as her family desperately hope that she'll soon be freed.
Anna has been in jail since January, when she was found guilty of pushing Seb Franklin from a ladder after being framed by Pat Phelan.
Although Anna always protested that she was innocent and that Phelan had masterminded the whole thing, few people believed her story – but that could be about to change.
This week's episodes saw Phelan finally exposed as an evil serial killer as the bodies of Vinny Ashford and Andy Carver were found on the mill site, leading to Phelan's demise.
Next week, Anna's son Gary can't help wondering what the recent developments will mean for his mum.
As Phelan's evidence played a large part in convicting Anna, there are surely now grounds for an appeal – a possibility that Gary quickly latches onto.
Although actress Debbie Rush has now left the soap, Corrie fans will see Gary and Faye return home from a trip to see her in prison – confident that she'll soon be released. But will life really be that simple?
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday (April 2) at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
