A father and daughter are grieving the loss of an important figure in their lives, but both are trying to cope alone and in different ways.

Charlie helps the father realise that he shouldn't be afraid of letting his daughter know that he's also struggling so that they can get through it together.



Meanwhile, Dixie and Iain are called to treat a newly-engaged couple, but in the Emergency Department, Jane confesses to Lily and Alicia that she has a condition which she doesn't want her fiancé to know about. Connie convinces Jane to receive treatment for her pneumothorax after she initially refuses, fearing it will exacerbate her condition. As she's determined that she can't have a life with her new fiancé, will he give up on her?

Elsewhere, Lily attends her father's funeral, but she lets her grief get to her at work.

Also this week, Dylan bonds with his baby girl and names her Matilda. After finding a new place to live, Dylan takes Dervla back. Robyn and Max are glad to be free of the dog but Lofty feels a bit guilty.
