Nessa is played by actress Sadie Shimmin. Sadie has acted in EastEnders, Mr Selfridge, Holby City, Prime Suspect, Silent Witness, The Bill... well, the list goes on and is very extensive.

Sadie has also appeared in Coronation Street before as Tilly Eaves - an acquaintance of Hayley Cropper. The pair met whilst working together on building an orphanage in Mozambique.

any scene where they were playing football, and the ludicrous idea that one of the team had trials for England, or that the team shown played at such a high level!!

show her as looking older-so I agree ok as

Coronation Street's Roy Cropper will make a shocking discovery about Nessa Warner over the festive season.

Nessa's relationship with Ken Barlow is currently going from strength to strength, but it will soon become increasingly clear that she has a very questionable past.

In scenes to be aired after Christmas, Roy will discover that Nessa had an affair with her sister Cathy's late husband Alan.

Roy's surprising finding comes after he helps Cathy clear out the remaining rubbish in her house as part of a New Year's resolution. ​While Roy goes through Alan's old paperwork, he stumbles across a letter and is horrified by its contents.

Roy is forced to push the incriminating letter to the back of his mind as he comforts Cathy while she sorts through Alan's stuff, but he later confides in an equally shocked Anna.

A worried Roy is then left to wrestle over what to do with the knowledge, but will he come clean to Cathy?
