    Round-up:

Tracy is still struggling with her guilt over the fire. Seeing how upset she is, Ken gives her the afternoon off. When she turns up at the Bistro, Robert surprises her with a new dish he has made, but she explodes and storms off. Robert follows her and Ken tells her she should grab love when she can. Later she finds herself strangely jealous when she sees another customer flirting with Robert and seizes the moment, laying her cards on the table. Her joy is short-lived, however, when she wakes up after a night of passion. Ken tells her that Deirdre has left her £80,000 – to be held in trust for Simon and Amy. Simon sees red when Leanne bans him from going to football practice and kicks her before storming off. In a bid to smooth things over, Leanne takes Simon and his mates out to lunch, but things get out of hand after he steals a bottle of vodka from behind the bar. Andrea faces a dilemma when her daughter calls, desperate for some cash. Sophie is becoming more suspicious of Sally and Kevin and tries to probe her mother. She is shocked when Sally bites Mary’s head off for making a suggestion about the hen night. Steve is miserable when he has to hand Rover back to his real owner. When Steph overhears Maria arranging to meet a man in a car park, she hurries over to the garage to tell Luke. The two head off in pursuit, only to discover what Maria is really up to.

I suppose we will find out when.episode is
shown- but where did Dierdre get. £80,000
from. I suppose it must be an insurance
policy?? But premiums would have been steep!

Neither she nor Ken have worked for years.
The only work Ken did that could have given
him an occupational pension was Teaching
but that wasnt for that long.

They had to mortgage the house to.pay
for legal services in Tracys appeal against
    the murder charge.
And Blanche left her money to Tracy.

Still its good its going to Simon &Amy
and is in trust so Tracy shouldnt be
able to get her mitts on it.!!

Over on Coronation Street, Leanne Tilsley's attempts to mend her troubled relationship with her stepson Simon will backfire badly.

Leanne (Jane Danson) will suffer another violent attack at home later this month, as Simon angrily kicks her when she bans him from football practice following more bad behaviour.

Afterwards Simon (Alex Bain) apologises to Leanne and admits that he is struggling to control his temper, so she tries to smooth things over between the two of them by suggesting that he should invite his friends for lunch at the Bistro.

Leanne is pleased when Simon's outing with his mates appears to be going well, but she doesn't notice him sneakily steal a bottle of vodka from behind the bar.

As Simon and his friends become increasingly drunk, Leanne is horrified to discover the empty bottle under the table. When Leanne later confronts Simon at home, will he be able to control his fury in his drunken state?

It used to be Sophie and Maddie quite often. Amy too. Soaps are guilty of having family members as friends almost, rather than bringing in other characters. We also get friendships with large age gaps because there aren't that many young characters (Faye and Craig is one with 3-4 years difference.)

I presume they'll disappear quickly once it suits the storyline. I don't recall us ever hearing what happened to Faye's friend Grace Piper after they were questioned by the police. She turned on Faye so one would have thought she'd have been leading the queue to poke fun at Faye once she got pregnant.
