Interesting little piece in next week's Radio Times from David Brown previewing Tuesday's episode:

"Is it just me or is it quite disturbing to be now watching storylines where we're supposed to be emotionally invested in rapist Dean? Frankly, every time he appears on screen, all I'm thinking is. 'This man should be in jail.'

"Maybe that's the point and the fact that Dean is still at large reflects real-life conviction levels. But still, plotlines about the running of his salon and whether he's going to reconcile with Roxy? Come on!

"In the end, while it's admirable of EastEnders to show the true picture of rape in the UK, it's going to be tough going getting viewers to care about the character while he remains so unrepentant."

Also no one on the Square and surrounding area are worried that an alleged rapist is living and working there especially the older characters as in real life some would object and have pitch forks ready for justice
