Neighbours lines up new murder shock as Aaron Brennan considers killing Cassius Grady
    What is he capable of?

    http://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neig...-murder-fears/

Neighbours fans will be left wondering whether Aaron Brennan is capable of murder in a dark scene next week.

Aaron (Matt Wilson) makes a surprising move when he finds out that Cassius Grady has been admitted to hospital after being attacked in prison.

The violent assault leaves Cassius's life hanging in the balance and Aaron is appalled when he finds out that his husband David Tanaka (Takaya Honda) is treating him.

Although part of Aaron understands that David has to do his job as a doctor, he's also full of resentment over the misery that Cassius has caused to his family over the past year.

With his anger building, Aaron finds himself drawn to Cassius's hospital room on his own.

As nobody else is around, Aaron heads inside and hovers over a comatose Cassius, seeing that a ventilator is keeping him alive.

Seeing how easy it would be to take Cassius off his life support, Aaron briefly considers his options but gets rumbled by David.

How far was Aaron about to go? And how will David feel about his uncharacteristic behaviour?

Neighbours airs these scenes on Tuesday, October 23 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.

My moneys on he’d do it if he could get away with it. David has no idea what he married.

Neighbours lines up a baby storyline for David Tanaka and Aaron Brennan
The couple discuss their long-term future next week.

    http://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neig...an-baby-story/

Neighbours couple David Tanaka and Aaron Brennan will start making plans for a baby next week.

The popular pair, who tied the knot in September, agree to begin looking into their options after Aaron (Matt Wilson) suggests that it's time to start getting the ball rolling.

The storyline starts off on a tense note, as Aaron and David (Takaya Honda) bicker over how to raise their new goldfish.

A frustrated Aaron questions how they're going to cope raising a child in the future if they can't even agree on a name for their pet, which leads to a more serious conversation between them.

As talk turns to the future, Aaron admits that he's keen to have a family of their own sooner rather than later. However, he's left disappointed when David insists that it's too soon.

Although David doesn't think they're ready for kids, he's left with food for thought after a chat with his sister Amy Williams (Zoe Cramond).

After realising how much planning it takes for a same-sex couple to have a child, David agrees that they can start researching the process – even though he doesn't want to be changing nappies just yet.

With Aaron delighted, could he and David be one step closer to a family of their own?

Neighbours airs these scenes on Thursday, November 22 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.

Neighbours' David Tanaka and Aaron Brennan face a crisis after Chloe's health news
Can they agree on the best step forward?

    http://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neig...health-crisis/

Neighbours newlyweds David Tanaka and Aaron Brennan face a new crisis next week following Chloe's bombshell news over her health.

Chloe is about to reveal the truth over her Huntington's diagnosis after she learns that David (Takaya Honda) and Aaron (Matt Wilson) are making plans to start a family together.

Earlier this year, Chloe (April Rose Pengilly) was told that she'd tested positive for Huntington's, a genetic disorder for which there is no cure.

When Chloe discovers that her brother and David are considering surrogacy and plan to use Aaron's sperm, she finally bites the bullet and tells her family everything.

Although Mark agrees to get himself tested, Aaron buries his head in the sand and decides that he's happier not knowing the truth either way.

Next week's episodes see Aaron's attitude start to cause trouble for his marriage, as David is concerned over the way he's handling the situation.

David spots that Aaron seems to be using intense exercise as a way to distract himself from what's really going on. He urges Aaron to open up and reconsider having the test, but Aaron refuses to listen.

When David's brother Leo (Tim Kano) finds out what's going on, he can't resist getting involved by speaking to Aaron himself. Leo warns Aaron to stop thinking only of himself, since this issue closely impacts David too.

Realising there's some truth to Leo's words, Aaron finally lets his guard down and opens up to David. Although he's still not changing his mind, Aaron is more open about his reasoning – explaining that he doesn't want to add further grief to the Brennan family when they're already dealing with so much.

Later in the week, Mark gets his own test results back and is relieved to discover that he doesn't have the Huntington's gene.

Mark's obvious relief gives Aaron the courage to change his mind, so he tells David that he'll now have the test after all. Will there be a happy outcome after the couple head to the hospital together?

Neighbours airs these scenes on Wednesday, December 5 and Thursday, December 6 at 12.45pm and 6pm on Channel 5.

I wouldn't be surprised if Aaron discovers he has the gene and that is how Neighbours ends his part in the show, by suddenly having a new cure in Europe or America so he leaves.

    Except Matt Wilson isn't leaving.

I doubt Aaron or David will leave unless one wants to. The producers will want them to be long term with family

Well, his contract would have been up this year, as he had a standard three year contract from 2015. He was first on screen in June 2015. So he has probably extended it, I would say.

Either way, Neighbours producers confirmed to TV Tonight only a couple of months back that he wasn't leaving.

Neighbours to introduce a new pet after sad Ramsay Street death storyline
David and Aaron welcome in a new addition.

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...death-reg-dog/

Neighbours is introducing a new pet to Ramsay Street as part of the Valerie Grundy death storyline.

Show bosses have revealed that Neighbours' 8,000th episode will centre around the sad death of Val, who's quietly lived on the corner house of Ramsay Street for 34 years.

Australian entertainer Patti Newton has been cast in the role of reclusive Val, who makes her first – and last – appearance in the Aussie soap's milestone edition.

In the aftermath of Val passing away peacefully at home, the Sharma-Rebecchis take on the responsibility of looking after her dog Reg.

The new arrangement is a disaster from the start, as Reg constantly clashes with the family's existing pet Clancy.

When Shane and Dipi realise they need someone else to look after Reg while they track down Val's next of kin, David Tanaka (Takaya Honda) considers stepping up to the plate.

Noting how much Aaron (Matt Wilson) loves playing with Reg, David asks Mark to consider allowing them to adopt the pooch.

Mark is wary of allowing a pet into the Brennan house but David persists with the issue, pointing out how happy it would make Aaron.

David and Aaron are both overjoyed when Mark eventually concedes, allowing Reg to stick around on the Street.

The storyline of Val and her pet has been written in as a tribute to the late Reg Grundy, who helped to create Neighbours alongside Reg Watson in the '80s.

Neighbours airs these scenes on Boxing Day at 10.55am and 5.45pm on Channel 5.
