Casualty has released an exclusive new preview teasing several dramatic spring storylines.
The preview features a shooting, a car accident and a dark storyline for long-running character Charlie Fairhead involving his son.
Chucky Venn's first scenes as new nurse Jacob Masters are also featured as he arrives in the emergency department with an injured friend.
It was announced earlier this year that Venn, who previously starred in EastEnders as Ray Dixon, had joined the BBC medical drama.
Other storylines previewed include Connie's situation escalating and Holby City's Henrik Hanssen, played by Guy Henry, arriving in the ED.
