I am disappointed Aaron is the one who went after James. It seems like Aaron is regressing he is NOT maturing or being his own man that is sad. I wonder if Robert would turn on Aaron? Maybe as a way to get at his mom?

I think the SWs need to progress his character-
Hes had problems but is becoming repititive.
If they dont -you end up with a character stuck
in a time warp of age they were they first appeared
and if characters dont mature they become
a bit ridiculous over time.
Ive always liked Aaron but I know some viewers
dont . I think there are possibilities
to.move character forward and hope something
is done.
??are they training him up to be like Uncle Cain??

Meanwhile, new Emmerdale pictures show the moment that Aaron Livesy violently lashes out at James Barton.
Aaron (Danny Miller) goes out for revenge after learning that his mother Chas has been betrayed by James.
Upcoming episodes see James (Bill Ward) grow increasingly suspicious of Chas as he becomes convinced that she is having an affair with Paddy Kirk.
When Chas refuses to explain her recent secretive conversations with Paddy, it sparks a full-blown row with James and he seeks comfort elsewhere when his manipulative estranged wife Emma makes the most of the situation.
After James and Emma spend the night together, it doesn't take long for the truth to come out and Chas is heartbroken after being betrayed yet again.
When Aaron finds out what happened, he is naturally protective towards his mum but goes way too far by attacking James when he spots him at the pub.
With a bottle in hand, Aaron loses control and sends James crashing to the ground - a decision he may later live to regret when somebody reports him to the police.

I wonder what james says to chas
Why are these soap 'mammies' always protecting their adult sons??? If your son commits a crime they deserve to be punished, for goodness sake!! Thats the only way forward.. Its been refreshing to see at least Chrissy doing the right thing even though I hate that Lachlan guy-he's just creepy, not tough as he makes up to be..just odd and creepy looking..
So Chas, Emma, Lisa, Diane..and from Corrie Liz McDonald, Gail....and the list goes on..
