Perhaps I'm being overly optimistic here, but maybe he wasn't nominated because these awards glamorise villains and rape is something that's too distasteful to glamorise? I hope that's the case anyway!
I quite like watching Callum as a character although I obviously don't like his personality (if that makes sense). I wouldn't go as far as to say I love to hate him though (I like to dislike him? ). He's obviously not in the league of classic Corrie villains like the compelling Tony Gordon.

I am very happy Adam won as Ian in Eastenders, is this his first time nominated for best actor, he has been on the show so long surprised if it was his first nomination
I am shocked Ian and Jane won best partnership, I was expecting Mick and Linda to be in contention, I would have given it to Sally and Tim from Corrie
It is a shame Emmerdale didn't pick up a few more

I agree and so would vast majority Im sure!
We have had rapists nominated as "villians"
before eg Andrew Lancel( Frank Foster) and
Larry Lamb(Archie Mitchell - also incest)
and I think they won! .But importantly
there was no attempt to show the character
sympathetically or other than a villian.
I think this rape story has got skewed somewhere
and hope it can be retrieved with some
believability SOON! Still dont know how tho.!
