Exclamation Casualty Spoilers 25th March 2023

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/cas...b-faith-dylan/

Next week on Casualty, Jacob struggles in the aftermath of Robyn's death, while Dylan fights to bring an abuser to justice and a new story for Faith begins.

Here's a full collection of the biggest moments coming up:

    1. Dylan makes a worrying discovery

Dylan is preparing for an interview which will determine whether he can be reinstated as Clinical Lead.

He's intrigued to discover that his rival Max isn't actually going for the job after all, meaning, theoretically, he shouldn't have any competition.

However, Dylan's day takes a worrying turn when DCI Supriya Vadra ? who he had previously taken a shine to ? is brought into the ED after suffering a stab wound.

    2. Jacob struggles to cope

Jacob struggles to navigate the day of Robyn's funeral and becomes unsure over whether he should be attending the service or not.

As Jacob addresses his team at the start of the shift, he can't help but grow paranoid about the wider speculation going on around him. After hearing Paige question whether Paul would actually want him there, Jacob decides to stay back in the ED and work after all.

    3. Dylan fights for justice

After managing to save DCI Supriya Vadra, Dylan is thrown another curveball when Roy Welch is brought into the hospital in a perilous condition.

Ignoring warnings from Max, who thinks he is too emotionally involved to treat him, Dylan gets stuck in but it's clear the odds are stacked against them. When Max urges Dylan to call time, Dylan refuses ? adamant that they must save Roy and bring him to justice.

    4. Iain supports Jacob

Aware of Jacob's struggles, Iain supports him and counsels him not to suffer in silence.

Iain acknowledges Jacob's feelings but reminds him that he isn't to blame for the state of the NHS and that he was being asked to perform the impossible prior to Robyn's death. He also encourages Jacob to face his emotions and say goodbye to Robyn, even if it's in private.

    5. Faith's secret is revealed

Faith treats a drug user, who is struggling from withdrawal symptoms. When some prescription drugs later go missing, accusations are fired, until a secret about Faith is revealed.

    6. Jacob makes a big decision

At the end of a difficult day, Jacob begins to reflect on his future in the ED.

Despite acknowledging that Robyn's death was the fault of the system, and not down to him, Jacob doubts whether he can continue to work there in the long-term, and writes his resignation letter.

Casualty airs these scenes on Saturday, March 25 on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer.

Casualty has confirmed the return of Holby City's Donna Jackson, alongside four new characters.

Jaye Jacobs's popular warden sister Donna will be crossing over onto the fellow BBC continuing drama this April when she gets reassigned to the Emergency Department.

Donna was a mainstay of Holby City until the very end of the show last year, with the actress saying at the time she'd miss "lifelong friends" she'd made working on the show.

"I am thrilled to be joining such a legendary show," Jacobs said today (March 23).

The veteran soap star will be joined by four nursing recruits ? starting with Small Axe's Eddie-Joe Robinson, whose character Ryan is ambitious and quick to look for credit.

I Hate Suzie's Sarah Seggari has been cast as Rida, described by the BBC as "straight-talking and confident" with little patience for some of her colleagues' distractions.

The Bay's Anna Chell will debut as Jodie in a storyline that sees the nursing student reunited with someone from her past in the ED. Jodie will struggle with trying to keep her personal and professional lives separate.

Rounding off the newbies is Death in Paradise and The Larkins actor Barney Walsh as the ever-nervous Cam, whose accident-prone history makes him feel out of place in the high-stakes environment of the ED.

Executive producer Jon Sen has said of the casting: "We are thrilled to introduce these exciting new characters to the Casualty fans. Jodie, Cam, Rida and Ryan are a breath of fresh air ? bringing hope, heart, wit, warmth and irreverence to the ED.

"We are sure the audience are going to love them as much we already do."

News of Jacobs's return as Donna comes on the heels of Holby City star Bob Barrett reprising his own role as Dr Sacha Levy for a storyline airing last weekend.
