Coming up on Emmerdale, Belle Dingle faces fresh danger when she suffers a worrying relapse.

Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) has recently taken some positive steps following her mental health problems, but she stops taking her medication later this month after the Dingle family receive some traumatic news.

While we won't give away what the news is, Belle feels numb in the aftermath and decides to ditch her pills so that she can feel some genuine emotion at this difficult time.

Unfortunately, Belle's bad decision has frightening consequences as she starts hearing the 'voice' of her late friend Gemma Andrews again and slips back into her old ways.

Following instructions from 'Gemma', Belle sneaks out of the house one night and takes a bag with her. The teen's family don't realise that she has gone until the next day, when they immediately launch a search party for her.

With everyone worried, it's Sam's young son Samson who finds Belle first, but she scares him off by threatening to hurt him unless he stays away and keeps his mouth shut.

Once alone again, Belle heads to the highest point that she can find at derelict Wylie's Farm with lots on her mind.

Fortunately, Belle's family and the rest of the search party manage to track her down and Harriet takes control of the situation by trying to coax her back to safety.

As Cain sneaks quietly up the stairs and sirens are heard in the distance, Belle suddenly loses her footing…

    Round-up

The village is in shock after the events at the wedding the day before. Priya is livid when Jai tells her that the factory was better off without her, but Rakesh is impressed by her plans to take a more active part in the business. Sam breaks the bad news to Zak and Lisa, who worry about how it will affect Belle. She takes the news badly and flushes away her pill before secretly letting herself out of the house at night. When Zak and Lisa realise that she has gone, a search party gathers at the
Woolpack. When they catch up with her at the derelict Wylie’s Farm, she appears to be disoriented and Lisa has an angina
attack. As they wait for the emergency services to arrive, Harriet uses her old police training to try to coax her down from the roof – but then Belle loses her footing. Emma is thrown when Finn tells her that he wants her to move out while Moira worries that she and James are to blame for what Emma did. James tries to reason with Finn, who is amazed that his father could be sticking up for Emma – can he be persuaded to give her another chance? David is annoyed by the way Alicia is lavishing attention on Lachlan but suddenly realises that he has forgotten to get her a Valentine’s present. Adam does his best to support Andy, who is in despair. When Sarah starts asking questions, Andy breaks down and begs Debbie to take his kids away.

Exhausted over yesterday's events, the villagers try to get back to normality - but one desperate resident has a secret to reveal.

Meanwhile, Debbie finds a conflicted Ross in the garage after he has slept there. Over at Dale View, Emma is thrown when Finn tells her that he wants her to move out. Moira feels guilty that she and James are to blame for what Emma did. As Debbie suggests that Ross should give Emma another chance, will Finn be as forgiving? And will James stick up for his estranged wife or will he be glad to see the back of her?

Elsewhere, Belle secretly washes one of her pills down the drain, clearly troubled.

Also today, Priya asks Jai to give Kirin work experience for his business class. Jai agrees and Priya and Kirin share a smile.

Suspicions are raised and secrets come to light, but one resident finds themselves torn.

Meanwhile, Belle pretends to take a pill but discards it. At the factory, Lisa has a small attack of angina and Priya sees that she is overexerting herself. Soon afterwards, Moira finds Belle struggling to come to terms with what has happened. At home, Belle watches as Lisa gets out of breath and has to take her spray. Belle struggles to hide her emotions but that night, she creeps downstairs in the dark with a bag over her shoulder. She doesn't want to leave, but 'Gemma' has left her no choice.

Elsewhere, James tries to reason with Finn, trying to get him to give Emma a second chance but he is undecided. Later, Finn is amazed that James could forgive Emma so easily, but will James manage to talk Finn round?

Also today, Lachlan relishes the attention that Alicia is giving him, much to David's despair.

Finally, Val has a go at Adam about the scrapyard.

Zak and Lisa worry when they discover that Belle hasn't been home all night and hasn't got her phone or her medication with her. As a search party gathers in The Woolpack, young Samson finds Belle. Belle is angry and warns him to stay away and keep his mouth shut or she'll hurt him, explaining that she always ends up killing someone. Samson runs away terrified, but will he keep her secret?

Later, a tormented Belle has other things on her mind, but what will she do next?

Meanwhile, in the café, Finn tells Emma that his dad has had a word and he has decided not to give up on her at the first sign of trouble. At the same time, James tells Chas that he plans to ask Emma for a divorce, but how will Emma react?

Elsewhere, Jacob has plans for a picture book for Alicia's birthday and Lachlan is enthusiastic to help. David realises that he has forgotten Valentine's Day and rushes off to sort something. Later, David is ordering flowers for Alicia, but could his plans be thwarted?

Also today, Pearl worries about her expensive heating bill.

Finally, Debbie leaves the kids with Andy, telling him that he is getting help whether he likes it or not.

At derelict Wylie's Farm, everyone looks up at Belle, who is dangerously close to the edge and clearly panicked by the number of people watching her. Lisa has an angina attack while waiting for the emergency services.

Using her old police training, Harriet tries to talk Belle away from the edge while Cain sneaks quietly up the stairs. As sirens are heard in the distance, Belle loses her footing…

Meanwhile, Victoria offers Adam help with the scrapyard's opening party. Adam refuses, saying that she needs to be there for Andy. He also worries about how Victoria is really bearing up. At the same time, Sarah asks Andy questions but he breaks down, asking Debbie to take the kids away. After the recent confession, one resident also makes a choice…

Elsewhere, Chrissie invites David and Alicia for dinner, but David is not looking forward to it. At Home Farm, Chrissie is optimistic as she tells Lawrence about her plan to open up a farm shop, a franchise of David's.

Also, Emma doesn't take James's request for a divorce too well, leaving him exasperated. Behaving angrily in The Woolpack's toilets, she rips the paper towel dispenser off the wall, pleased by the damage Chas will now have to face. However, as Emma arrives back at the table, she shows a different attitude. At the same time in the pub, Sam is stuck in the middle of an argument that Tracy is involved in.

Finally, Rhona offers Pearl an advance but she refuses. Rhona then asks about Katie's bill but Pearl says she'll deal with it. Pearl then guiltily looks at the cash envelope in her pocket.

Emma is hurt when she tells Ross and Finn about the divorce, but her spirits lift when Ross tells her there is a job going at the doctors. Emma is irked to see Adam and James getting along so well and after speaking to Val, she has a plan.

At the scrapyard, a couple arrives ready to scrap their car but Adam doesn't have any cash on him and leaves them to go to the pub while he nips out. When the scrapyard is clear, a bitter Emma causes chaos…

Emmerdale's Katie Sugden is stunned in tonight's episode (February 4) as Aaron Livesy starts supporting her crusade against Robert.

The latest visit to the village sees life get even worse for Katie (Sammy Winward) when Robert and Chrissie decide to pull the farm sale as revenge for her recent behaviour.

Despite the latest setback, Katie is ready to swallow her pride and get back on amicable terms with the couple for the sake of her marriage to Andy.

Just when it seems that Katie is about to drop her vendetta, Aaron (Danny Miller) approaches her outside the pub and betrays Robert by vowing to help her secure evidence of his 'mystery' affair. How will Katie react to Aaron's shock offer?

Robert Sugden's problems are far from over on Emmerdale next week as Chas Dingle begins to suspect that he killed Katie.

The ITV soap aired explosive scenes in Thursday night's double bill (February 5) as Katie fell to her death at Wylie's Farm following an altercation with Robert (Ryan Hawley).

Since then, Robert has callously gone ahead with his wedding to Chrissie White, leaving his secret lover Aaron Livesy (Danny Miller) to help cover his tracks after telling him a false version of events. Katie's husband Andy has also now found her body at the farm, leaving him devastated.

Next week's Emmerdale episodes pick up directly after Andy's heartbreaking discovery, and word quickly spreads throughout the village that Katie is dead.

News of Katie's demise has a huge impact on her loved ones, but Chas's reaction is a mix of grief and suspicion as she fears that her best friend's death wasn't an accident.

Well aware that Katie and Robert were locked in a bitter feud, Chas (Lucy Pargeter) shares her theory with Aaron and her and ex-partner Paddy Kirk.

Chas's suspicions horrify her son, who immediately jumps to the defence of his on-off lover and reveals their recent affair to both Paddy and Chas.

Robert is furious when he learns of Aaron's confession, but he soon realises that he will need to speak to Chas and Paddy himself before they cause any trouble for his marriage to Chrissie.

An Emmerdale insider teased: "Chas and Paddy are both surprised by what Robert agrees to when he speaks to them, but will it be enough to keep them quiet about the affair? And will Chas be convinced that he didn't kill Katie?"

Emmerdale continues on Monday (February 9) at 7pm on ITV.

Coming up on Emmerdale, Robert Sugden will feel the pressure as Chas Dingle becomes increasingly suspicious about his part in Katie's death.

As concerns grow for the welfare of grief-stricken Andy, Chas (Lucy Pargeter) is unsettled by Robert's behaviour and snaps at Diane and Victoria when they praise him for his support of his brother.

In The Woolpack later on, Chas tells Aaron and Paddy (Dominic Brunt) that she thinks Robert killed Katie, forcing a horrified Aaron to jump to his defence and reveal details of their recent affair.

Determined to get more answers, Chas starts to question Aaron about Robert's whereabouts when Katie died, but Aaron sticks up for Robert and leaves. Afterwards, Robert is furious when Aaron informs him that Paddy and Chas now know about their fling.

With the guilt of Katie's death weighing heavily on his shoulders and also feeling the strain of his secret affair with Aaron, Robert (Ryan Hawley) goes to meet with an angry Chas and Paddy.

Chas and Paddy are pleasantly surprised by Robert's cooperation when he arrives to talk to them, but what will Robert agree to?
