I've only just discovered that on 7 Oct 2014 Dominic Treadwell-Collins confirmed Winston would leave the show and thanked his portrayer for his dedication to the show. His final appearance was on 14 December.

Why didn't anyone tell me?

I am distraught.

Hey, I saw Winston tonight. He was in the Queen Vic.

Perhaps it's all been a bad dream......

Not clear from quote if 14 th Dec is
last day of filming or last televised
appearance?
Just hope its untrue in either case.!
