Monday

The aftermath of the previous week is felt around the village.

Meanwhile, a lady named Juliette turns up with some shock news for Jimmy and Nicola - she's pregnant with his baby! Juliette then goes on to explain how, and Jimmy soon has some major explaining to do.

Elsewhere, Sandy learns that Edna's guilt over 'dead' Lawrence is unfounded. He, Paddy and Aaron are on a mission to track him down and are surprised with what they learn.

Also today, Zak and Lisa are shocked when bailiffs arrive and take their TV to cover Sam's debts.


Tuesday

Jimmy has a slight sense of sadness when an unknowing Juliette tells him that she will be calling the baby Carl and all she needs is a signature from him to forget him forever.

As Juliette leaves, Nicola confronts Jimmy before storming off. However, when Jimmy catches up with her, will Nicola be taken aback by just upset he is? Just how will Jimmy be able to cope saying goodbye to his baby?

Meanwhile, Sandy convinces Paddy and Aaron to join him to go and confront Lawrence. Sandy gets Lawrence to confess that he is the man they are looking for, but he refuses to agree to meet up with Edna and sends them all away. Later, Sandy informs Edna that Lawrence is very much alive, but will this news be music to Edna's ears or will the ghosts of her past come back to haunt her?

Elsewhere, will Leyla give away who her mystery man is when she snaps at David and Jai after seeing Jai buy Megan flowers?

Also today, Sam tries to hide his panic when Zak and Lisa inform him they've had the bailiffs round.

Finally, Doug is taken aback when Laurel tells him that her mum has just got engaged, but he seems in good spirits when he tells her that he's meeting up with a fan called Sasha later.


Wednesday

With yesterday's revelation playing heavy on Edna's mind, she fails to see Lawrence approaching and is shocked when he introduces himself.

Lawrence wants to explain everything to Edna and bury the hatchet, but can Edna forgive and forget so quickly?

Meanwhile, when Rakesh hands Priya a huge list of people she has never met to add to their wedding guest list, it makes her realise that she doesn't know much about Rakesh at all. Kirin reassures her that this is what arranged marriages are all about - getting to know each other. Priya is a little encouraged and agrees with Rakesh to try to get to know each other better.

Elsewhere, Lisa is attempting to help Sam with his debts but they continue to mount. An increasingly desperate Lisa does her best to find the cash. When Lisa spots an opportunity at work, she soon regrets her actions when she is caught red handed and sent home with a warning over her job. The stress is too much and starting to affect her health. Suddenly Lisa has a funny turn…

Also today, Jimmy decides to bury the hatchet and move back home as it's too noisy at Bob's. However, things are frosty between him and Nicola as they both try to score points against each other. Can they sort things out?

Finally, Alicia tells Leyla she knows about Jai and advises her to move on.


Thursday

The doctor books Lisa into a clinic but it clashes with Belle's visit. Lisa is anxious when Belle arrives, but Belle is enjoying her visit until Lisa says she has to go to work.

Desperate to see her daughter, Lisa asks Kerry to cover while she nips home during the day, but she is unaware that Jai has spotted her leaving. Jai tells Lisa that she is fired and orders her out of the factory, but as Lisa leaves, she struggles to get her breath and collapses unseen.

Meanwhile, Alicia is trying to fix Leyla up and sends an embarrassed David on a mission, but it works as Leyla is soon asked out for dinner. Leyla refuses until she realises Jai is within earshot. Will Leyla's game-playing end in tears?

Elsewhere, aware that she doesn't know Rakesh properly, Priya decides tonight's the night.

Also, Sandy suggests Edna takes Harold's things to the charity shop. Sandy places his hand on Edna's, pleased they have made up.

Finally, Diane starts to be intrigued by Doug.


Thursday (2)

Kerry panics to find that Lisa has collapsed outside the factory. At the same time, Zak tries to stall the security officers, knowing Lisa will never forgive herself if Belle leaves without saying goodbye. Soon afterwards, Kerry arrives and tells them that Lisa has collapsed, leaving Belle distraught to be returning to the centre knowing her mum's life could be in danger.

Later at the hospital, Zak fears the worst and hates Jai for having put his wife through such stress. Will Lisa pull through?

Meanwhile, Priya's romantic plans go pear shaped when she arranges a surprise night in for Rakesh. It gives Priya doubts over marrying someone she barely knows and later she feels completely rejected by him. Is Priya making a huge mistake marrying Rakesh?

Elsewhere, Diane has a flash of jealousy when Alicia and Victoria discuss Doug's date. Doug finishes his meeting with Sasha, having been made a tempting offer. Victoria thinks Diane is interested in Doug and although she is quick to deny it, does she want more than just friendship from Doug?


Friday

Lisa signs herself out of hospital against the doctor's advice and heads home. Zak is surprised when Lisa informs him that she'd already taken a turn before, but he still heads to see Jai, fuming over Lisa's sacking.

Rakesh encourages Zak to sue Jai and says he will represent him, but with Lisa worrying about her health not her job, will this added stress make things worse?

Meanwhile, Leyla and Alicia are concerned when Priya complains about Rakesh. Priya arrives home amid Jai and Rakesh arguing and Jai informs her that Rakesh is helping Zak and Lisa take the matter to court. Could this marriage be over before it's begun?

[Perdita]

Emmerdale's Edna Birch will come face to face with her old love rival Lawrence next week, after learning that he isn't dead like she initially believed.

Viewers discovered recently that Edna (Shirley Stelfox) once reported Lawrence for his affair with her husband Harold, causing him to be jailed.

Although Edna believed that Lawrence had taken his own life while in prison, Sandy, Paddy and Aaaron attempt to track him down with surprising consequences.

When Sandy convinces Paddy and Aaron to join him in confronting Lawrence, Sandy manages to get Lawrence to confess that he is the person they are looking for.

However, Lawrence refuses to agree to meet up, sending them all away, but Sandy later informs Edna that Lawrence is very much alive.

As the revelation continues to play heavy on Edna's mind the following day, she fails to see Lawrence approaching and is shocked when he introduces himself.

Coming up on Emmerdale, there is heartbreak in store for Debbie Dingle when she believes that her former boyfriend Pete Barton has spent the night with Leyla Harding.

Viewers have recently seen Debbie's relationship with Pete (Anthony Quinlan) hit the rocks after she lied about having an abortion in order to cover for her mum Charity (Emma Atkins).

When Pete wakes up after spending the night on Leyla's sofa following a date with her, a shocked Debbie sees him and Leyla exit Tug Ghyll and is devastated to think that they have slept together.

Emmerdale's Megan Macey goes out for revenge next week as she becomes determined to expose Charity's true colours to the rest of the villagers.

Megan (Gaynor Faye) was left devastated in the soap's latest episode as she learned that her son Robbie's dead body had been recovered following a violent showdown for the Maceys out on a lake.

In the aftermath of recent events, a grieving Megan blames Charity for everything and is furious when she overhears some of the locals badmouthing her brother Declan in the café.

Wanting to defend Declan's reputation despite his attempt to kill Charity, Megan snaps and tells everyone that she drove him to his recent sinister actions.

Megan reveals that Charity lied about suffering a miscarriage and in fact had an abortion, but with the villagers all uneasy over the possibility of Declan making a shock return, it remains to be seen whether they can muster up any sympathy for him.

Emmerdale airs these scenes on Monday (September 29) at 7pm on ITV.
