George Knight is in shock when dad Eddie Knight gives him a stark ultimatum
George is deflated when he learns that he has no DNA matches after sending off his blood for a test, meaning his birth family can't be traced.
The horrific discovery that adoptive dad Eddie Knight murdered his birth father, Henry Kofi Asare, who had fostered George out to the Knights, has left his world shattered.
After finding out that Eddie and his adoptive mum Gloria Knight also lied to him about his heritage, he was determined to discover his real roots.
With no leads on his past, fiancee Elaine Peacock and ex-wife Cindy Beale encourage George to finally tell his daughters Gina Knight and Anna Knight the truth.
He's been keeping them in the dark to protect them but now that Gina has booked them a family holiday to Jamaica under the mistaken impression that George's parents were Caribbean, it's put George under pressure.
The girls are horrified when George spills the whole story, revealing that Eddie murdered their grandfather.
When Gloria phones the pub to beg George to give a statement in Eddie's defence in court, he leaves for their house, grim-faced.
After telling a devastated Gloria and a furious Eddie that he's cutting off all contact with them immediately, a manipulative Eddie tells George that he has something that might change his mind...
George is stunned when Eddie claims that he has got information about his birth mother and he'll hand it over - as long as George does right by him in court.
Lily Slater and Ricky Branning arrange a Mother's Day celebration in Walford East, which means Lily's mum Stacey Slater and Ricky's dad Jack Branning have to be in a room together...
Things have been awkward between the pair ever since Stacey put a stop to their secret affair, claiming Jack should focus on his wife Denise Fox, who has recently been sectioned after taking Jack's daughter Amy on a terror ride.
When Ricky and sister Amy Branning beg Jack to see their step-mum, Jack promises to check with Denise's daughter Chelsea Fox, but it seems Denise is still refusing to see anyone.
Overhearing the conversation, a worried Johnny Carter warns Stacey that she needs to speak to Denise first and make sure she keeps her mouth shut. There's a real risk of Denise confessing all about Keanu Taylor's murder and the six women's involvement in covering it up that would put them all in danger.
Suki Panesar and Eve Unwin's passionate romance has recently been in the rocks ever since Suki moved out of the Slater house following a bust up with Stacey Slater.
The event nearly saw Suki lose her life when Nish attacked her, but after being witnessed by her family, Nish was thrown out on the street and Suki returned to her rightful place at home.
Worried about his miserable mum, Vinny Panesar encourages Suki to make things up with Eve. When she apologises to Eve and asks her to move into the Panesar house with her, Suki is left stunned by Eve's words...
Also, Jade Green is on the verge of cancelling her charity auction when Jean Slater steps in to help her out. Can they organise everything in time?
Tuesday
Stacey Slater is on a mission to silence Denise Fox and is discovered
Stacey Slater is feeling under pressure from Linda Carter's son Johnny Carter, who is concerned about Denise Fox blabbing Linda's murder secret to her family.
After suffering a psychotic break brought on by her horror over the six women's dark secret that a murdered Keanu Taylor is buried under the cafe floor, Denise was sectioned.
Bowing to Johnny's demands, Stacey asks to see Denise, intending to convince her to return home where she and the other women can keep an eye on her.
In hospital, Denise reveals that she's stopped seeing hallucinations of Keanu, but she wants to stay put. A frustrated Stacey tries to talk Denise into coming back home, claiming she needs her loved ones around her.
Denise's husband Jack Branning walks in and is stunned to see Stacey. He demands to know why she's secretly come to see Denise.
Is the murder secret about to be blown?
George Knight is torn apart by adoptive dad Eddie Knight's ultimatum after he refused to give a character statement in Eddie's upcoming murder trial for the killing of George's birth father Henry Kofi Asari.
When George discovered the horrific truth, he wanted nothing more to do with Eddie or his adoptive mum Gloria Knight but a manipulative Eddie suggested if he comes good for him in court, he'll give George contact details for his birth mother.
After talking things through with fiancee Elaine Peacock, George is no closer to resolving his dilemma. As desperate as he is to find his real mum, he can't stomach supporting Eddie.
Wanting to help with his pain, Elaine asks Johnny Carter what the legal implications will be for George if he gives a statement lying that Eddie is of good character.
George finally finds a surprising confidante in Elaine's daughter Linda Carter, and he makes a decision, heading to court for the trial.
In court, Gloria seems strangely distracted by a mysterious woman who takes a seat in the crowd as George approaches the stand...
Could she be George's real mum?
Eve Unwin's head is in a spin after partner Suki Panesar asked her to move in with her in the Panesar family home.
The pair have been living apart ever since Stacey Slater kicked Suki out of the Slater house following a massive argument.
With Suki's ex Nish Panesar now kicked out of the house by his family after trying to strangle her, Suki's been relieved to be back home, but she's missing Eve desperately.
Eve finds herself confiding in Penny Branning about Suki's request she move in with her, explaining she fears living with Suki's family would be a disaster.
Penny gives Eve food for thought and she finally talks to Suki about her fears.
Can they resolve this hitch in their relationship?
Also, Jean Slater has agreed to help Jade Green with her charity auction but is struggling to find donations until Pastor Clayton and Yolande Trueman step in to help out.
Wednesday
Denise Fox is left in a spin when she's questioned by husband Jack Branning
Denise Fox is under pressure after being caught with Stacey Slater by husband Jack Branning.
Bowing to pressure from Linda Carter's son Johnny Carter, Stacey visited Denise in the psychiatric hospital to convince her to return to Walford, where the conspirators in Keanu Taylor's murder can keep an eye on her.
Denise had a psychotic break after being tormented by the events at Christmas where Linda Carter killed Keanu as he was trying to strangle Sharon Watts and she and the other five women buried Keanu under the cafe floor.
After suffering delusions of seeing a ghostly Keanu, as well as thinking Johnny was the devil, Denise was sectioned. She's been refusing to see any of her family since but agreed to let Stacey's visit.
With Jack demanding to know why Stacey is with his wife, Stacey thinks fast to come up with a convincing cover story. Jack seems to buy her lie but he's left hurt when Denise insists she still doesn't want to see him.
Later, Denise has a session with her doctor, Dr Abe and she reveals that she feels safe in the hospital and wants to stay.
George Knight is in a state after going to his adoptive dad Eddie Knight's trial for murder. The pensioner beat George's birth father Henry Kofi Asare to death after Henry turned up in London when George was a teen, wanting to take his son home with him.
George's adoptive mum Gloria Knight was complicit in the murder, having told Eddie to do whatever it took to stop Henry from taking George away from her.
When George discovered the shocking truth he refused to give Eddie a statement for the defence but Eddie blackmailed him, revealing he had information on George's birth mother.
Seeing that George is in a really bad way, his ex Cindy Beale joins forces with George's fiancee Elaine Peacock to try and get him back on an even keep for the sake of their girls Gina Knight and Anna Knight.
Their pleas seem to be working but the arrival of a surprise visitor for George changes everything and his world is blown apart...

Yolande Trueman has teamed up with Pastor Clayton to help Jean Slater out with donations to a charity auction. Jean offered her assistance to Dean Wick's ill daughter Jade Green, who was struggling to manage the auction on her own.
After Yolande asks her prayer group to donate some items, she and Pastor Clayton are touched by everyone's generosity and can give a thrilled Jean a pile of perfect things.
Yolande's delight at their success is soon scuppered, however when fellow church-goer Agatha reveals that people are gossiping about her close relationship with the Pastor!
Thursday
Jack Branning comes to a shocking conclusion after doing some digging
Jack Branning has decided to do some detective work after finding his lover Stacey Slater visiting his wife Denise Fox in the psychiatric hospital.
The copper's suspicions were raised when he walked in to find the pair in close discussion, knowing that Denise had been refusing to see anyone, even her family.
Denise had a psychotic break and began seeing hallucinations of the dead Keanu Taylor, convinced that he had returned from the dead to punish her for conspiring with the six other women to hide his body under the floor of the cafe.
After Denise was rescued by Jack when she had a complete breakdown, wandering alone in the woods, she was sectioned. Johnny Carter knows the secret of the murder and, determined to protect his killer mum Linda Carter, he insists Stacey get to Denise before Jack does and shut her down.
Considering Denise made it quite clear how much she hated Stacey after finding out that she and Jack had been having an affair, Jack can't get his head around their 'friendship'.
He knows something is rotten and he's determined to find out what it is.
Is it the beginning of the end for 'The Six'?
George Knight had a meltdown after turning up for the trial of his adoptive father Eddie Knight, who was up in court for murdering George's birth father Henry Kofi Asare.
The trial has kicked off a series of shocks and revelations and the arrival of a mysterious person in the Queen Vic has left George shell-shocked.
After storming out of the pub, George goes AWOL and his fiance Elaine Peacock and daughters Gina Knight and Anna Knight are worried.
The three women start a desperate search for him in the Square but can he be found?
Yolande Trueman is mortified that the congregation in her church having been gossiping that she's a bit TOO close Pastor Clayton!
Yolande and the Pastor have become firm friends and, with her husband Patrick Trueman away visiting his son, they've been spending a lot of time together.
When there's an upsetting incident at church, Yolande feels even worse about the cruel rumours. Noticing how down she is, the pastor encourages her to open up and she admits all about the gossip.
Insisting that gossip has no place in church, Pastor Clayton tells Yolande that she shouldn't listen to them. A grateful Yolande promises him that she won't let the recent incident affect their friendship.
