Meanwhile, John Paul McQueen is forced to put on a brave face once again on Hollyoaks as he faces Finn O'Connor in court.

John Paul (James Sutton) attends Finn's plea hearing along with Ste and his family, while Diane and Tony do their best to support Finn (Keith Rice).

However, Tony is having serious doubts over Finn's innocence, having discovered from his solicitor that Finn's DNA is a match to what they found on John Paul.

At the same time, Nancy (Jessica Fox) is having worries of her own as she is concerned that her affair with Rick will be revealed during the trial.

As Finn takes to the stand, everyone is shocked when he pleads 'not guilty'. What does the future hold for him?

Hollyoaks businessman Tony Hutchinson is forced to decide where his loyalties lie next week as Ste Hay confides in him over his recent betrayal of boyfriend John Paul McQueen.

Viewers know that Ste (Kieron Richardson) slept with his friend Sinead Roscoe (Stephanie Davis) last month after they both attended a '70s disco.

Next week as Finn O'Connor's impending hearing puts strain on several village residents, a guilty Ste takes the opportunity to reveal to Tony (Nick Pickard) that he cheated on John Paul (James Sutton).

The confession then leaves Tony wondering who Ste slept with, unaware that it was Sinead, who he too has had a recent affair with.

Determined to prove his loyalty to Diane and Finn, Tony does his best to support them but is left concerned when when Finn's solicitor confirms that Finn's DNA is a match to what they found on John Paul.

As tensions continue to mount, Tony later tells Ste that he will be keeping his distance from him until after Finn's trial.

Hollyoaks airs these scenes on Thursday, September 18 at 6.30pm on Channel 4.

It's a race against time as Trevor and Freddie embark on a tense rescue mission. The Lomaxes are rocked by a threatening encounter.

Wednesday, September 17

Leela, Tegan and Peri make a police appeal, desperate to find the driver who killed their parents. Is the source of Esther's secret fortune about to be revealed? Phoebe is surprised by Vincent's return.

Thursday, September 18

Tony must decide where his loyalties lie, while Ziggy is caught red-handed. Despite Phoebe's best efforts, George and Vincent come face-to-face.

Monday

John Paul is stunned when he sees that Myra has returned. Soon afterwards, Myra arrives at the boarding house and urges Carmel to move back to the McQueen house with Kathleen-Angel. However, Carmel soon makes a shock announcement - she's only coming back to get her things before her, Sonny and Kathleen-Angel move away.

Meanwhile, Trevor is scared when he finds a box on his desk containing a lock of blonde hair, which makes him fear for Grace.

Elsewhere, a guilty Ste tells Tony that he cheated on John Paul.

Also today, George is infuriated by Esther's new-found bossiness at the coffee shop. She threatens to sack George when he stands up to her for turning into the boss from hell, but he ends up quitting.


Tuesday

With Big Bob demanding £60,000 in exchange for the release of his hostage, it's a race against time as Trevor and Freddie embark on a tense rescue mission. Soon afterwards, they're shocked to find Big Bob pointing a gun at Grace.

Meanwhile, Tony tries to prove his loyalty to Finn and Diane, but when Tony speaks to Finn's solicitor, he finds out that Finn's DNA is a match to what they found on John Paul. Will this be enough to convict Finn?

Elsewhere, Ziggy comforts Leela when she finds out there are no new leads on the driver who killed Sam and Danny, except a blurry CCTV photo of a man in a red hat. Cameron concedes that Peri needs to live with Leela instead of with him at the boarding house. Later, Leela, Ziggy and Peri are scared when they get a threatening letter through the door.


Wednesday

Everyone gathers at court to hear Finn's plea, and there's shock all round when he pleads not guilty.

Meanwhile, Ziggy and Cameron are by the Lomax girls' sides as they give a police appeal to find the driver who killed their parents.

Elsewhere, is the source of Esther's secret fortune about to be revealed?

Also today, Phoebe is surprised by Vincent's return. He tells her that he has come back to take George to London with him.


Thursday

Tony must decide where his loyalties lie.

Meanwhile, Ziggy is caught red-handed.

Elsewhere, Phoebe doesn't want George to leave with Vincent. Phoebe tries to hide Vincent after lying that George isn't interested, but her efforts backfire when George and Vincent see each other.



Friday

Sienna tries to escape the boiler room but Patrick stops her. Soon afterwards, Patrick sees Maxine and Dodger heading into the hospital for a check-up and tells them they'll regret cutting him out of his baby's life. Maxine relents and invites Patrick to her next scan.

Later, Sienna disconnects a pipe in the boiler room and water gushes out - surely someone will find her now…

Meanwhile, Dirk is shocked to see Myra and she encourages him to visit Cindy. He goes to the psychiatric ward but is heartbroken that Cindy is still talking about Rhys.

Elsewhere, Nancy fears her affair with Rick is about to be exposed.

Agreed and in the autumn video he is smiling in court whilst Ste gets angry in court. Guess things don't go the way JP wants. I am not happy unless Finn gets murdered outside.

You'd think with the evidence though:

* Finn's DNA on JP
* Robbie's account of the night + the object they threw in the water after Finn hit JP
* Robbie stating Finn walked out smug on the night
* Nancy's ordeal
* Fact that Finn's personality didn't change after he was "raped"

I also have a feeling Diana is going to lie in court when this accusation comes out about how Finn has 'changed' as they're bound to ask how his life at home is after the "rape".

Hollyoaks has revealed the identity of the driver who killed Sam and Danny Lomax in a car crash last month.

Tuesday night's (September 16) first-look episode on E4 saw Teegan, Leela and Peri Lomax join forces for a police appeal, hoping to catch the mystery van driver who crashed into their parents' car.

In a shocking development, Peri's father Cameron Campbell (Cameron Moore) was revealed as the mystery hit and run driver, and was seen burning the incriminating red cap at the end of the episode.

Sonny Valentine explained to the girls before the appeal started that the driver responsible was wearing a red cap as seen through some blurry CCTV footage.

To make matters worse, the family are also receiving threatening letters and emails from the person they believe is responsible, while Peri believes she is being followed.

Cameron was introduced as a new bad boy for the village earlier in the year, but viewers have seen a more endearing side to him as he has attempted to bond with his teenage daughter.
