Esther embarks on a new business venture but will a looming threat destroy her dream? Sonny plots to get rid of meddling Kathleen, while Mercedes, Phoebe and Theresa hatch their own plan. Could Trevor and Grace's dreams of a family come true?

Nana tries to stop her family plotting, but headstrong Mercedes forges ahead with her daring plan. The return of a familiar face comes just in the nick of time, while Carmel is forced to make a heart-breaking decision.

Meanwhile, Theresa McQueen is at the centre of drama once again on Hollyoaks as she hatches a dramatic plan to escape from prison.

Theresa (Jorgie Porter) is determined to escape jail and flee with her daughter Kathleen-Angel, so she comes up with a scheme with Phoebe and Mercedes.

When Theresa manages to get herself out of prison for a hospital visit, the plan kicks into motion and Mercedes dresses as a doctor, steals a wheelchair and heads to find Theresa in order to help her escape.

Running from the hospital, the girls' plan hits a hurdle when they are discovered by Sonny and he bundles them into his car, determined to arrest them.

However, they are all soon stopped in their tracks by a newly-blonde and bronzed Myra (Nicole Barber-Lane), who hits Sonny over the head.

Delighted to see her, the McQueens are finally reunited and they head back to the village where they attempt to collect Kathleen-Angel.

Arriving back home, Theresa is concerned to discover that Carmel has already picked Kathleen-Angel up from the nursery and taken her to Dodger's boat.

Once they have caught up with Carmel, Myra desperately tries to persuade her daughter that Sonny is no good and that the toddler should go with Theresa instead.

Unable to reach a decision on Kathleen-Angel's future, Carmel later comes up with a plan and they decide to let the toddler choose who she wants to be with. Kathleen-Angel starts running towards her mum, but with Sonny determined to catch Theresa and send her back to jail, will she manage to get away?

Carmel is no doubt the better parent for Kathleen-Angel but I still think she needs to go back to Theresa, because I think she tries more than carmel to be the better parent. Is Theresa's stay permanent as I don't see her getting away and returning to normal since she'll be on the run.

Theresa is back full time so she will be out of prison

I feel for poor Carmel, Calvin her husband no saint was killed by Theresa who had his baby, he also had an affair with Mercedes, Carmel cant have kids over Theresa giving Calvin an STD

Myra should be on Carmel's side, Theresa has her own mother Kathleen

Monday

Nico is concerned when Patrick tells her that Sienna has gone away to stay with her aunty. Suspecting there's more to it, Nico is worried sick.

Meanwhile, Freddie remains jealous of Joe and Lindsey. Joe is suspicious about the tension between Freddie and Lindsey, but when Freddie lies that he is merely stressed due to his job at The Loft, Joe invites him to work at the garage again. Later, Freddie warns Lindsey that he will tell Joe the truth if she doesn't arrange a paternity test.

Elsewhere, Rick saves the day for Jason but it comes at a price - he wants his son to resit a year at school.

Finally, Grace tells Sonny that she'll give Carmel a cash injection to help open her own salon if he helps get rid of Big Bob.

Tuesday

Freddie is shocked by the results of Lindsey's paternity test.

Meanwhile, Kathleen is suspicious of Sonny and follows him. In doing so, Kathleen discovers a secret about Sonny which could help bring him down - but does Phoebe hold the key to exposing him?

Elsewhere, Rick is worried when Gazza returns and threatens him over the money he owes. Will Rick's family end up suffering for his mistakes?


Wednesday

Carmel is forced to face some hard evidence against Sonny after her family have presented her with the envelope of Grace's cash. How will Sonny get out of this one?

Meanwhile, as Freddie mourns at Katy's grave, he is joined by Trevor who surprises him with the news that he and Grace are trying for a baby. Freddie takes inspiration from his chat with Trevor and goes to the garage re-launch to tell everyone about him and Lindsey. As Freddie makes a scene, his emotions threaten to wreck the business event.

Elsewhere, Rick uncovers a family secret.


Thursday

Esther is delighted when she finally opens her new coffee shop 'Esther's Magic Bean'. However, she struggles to get the hang of it and spills cold coffee on Blessing. Later, could a looming threat destroy Esther's dream?

Meanwhile, Rick gives Mercedes plenty of information to incriminate Sonny. Kathleen meets up with Sonny, intending to record a confession about how he set up Theresa. However, Kathleen is conflicted when Sonny bribes her with £6,000 to leave.

Elsewhere, are Trevor and Grace's dreams of a family about to come true?


Friday

Nana is worried when she learns that Mercedes and Phoebe have come up with a plan to free Theresa. She tries to stop them, but Mercedes is determined and climbs out of the window.

At the same time, Theresa finds a way to get herself admitted to hospital. Mercedes turns up at the hospital dressed as a doctor and steals a wheelchair. Theresa then handcuffs the policewoman to the bed, before making a run for it with Mercedes. Unfortunately, Sonny is waiting for the scheming pair when they get outside.

Sonny pushes Theresa and Mercedes into the back of the police car, but is suddenly hit over the head from behind by Myra.

Later, when the McQueens meet up in the village, they learn that Carmel has already picked Kathleen-Angel up from nursery and they're at Dodger's boat. Myra shocks Carmel by turning up at the boat and tries to make her see that Sonny is bad news.

Everyone but Mercedes then goes to Browning's flat and Carmel suggests that Kathleen-Angel should choose who she wants to be with. Kathleen-Angel starts running towards Theresa, but will that be the end of it?
