EastEnders teenager Cindy Williams returns to Albert Square later this month and shocks Ian Beale when she suddenly goes into labour.

Pregnant Cindy (Mimi Keene) was last seen when she attended the funeral of her half-sister Lucy Beale earlier in the year.

Upon her return to the Square, Ian (Adam Woodyatt) is surprised to see Cindy and tells her that she needs to leave, feeling that he has too much to deal with already.

However, while Ian is too distracted to offer her any support, it soon becomes clear that Cindy is hiding the fact she is having contractions.

Ian is completely oblivious to Cindy's situation, but is horrified when she suddenly goes into labour.

As Cindy struggles with the pain as she prepares to give birth, will Ian be able to offer her the support she desperately needs?

Lee, Whitney and Johnny have been planning to attend the Notting Hill Carnival, but Mick asks them to stay home and help to cheer up Linda by bringing carnival to The Vic. Despite them going to great effort to decorate the pub, a downbeat Linda's response is far from enthusiastic.

Later, Ian arrives at the pub with his family and he is clearly in high spirits. Finally realising that things can't go on as they are, Mick decides to put his own family first. He tells Linda that he plans to give Ian an ultimatum - tell the truth or he'll do it for him.

Meanwhile, when Patrick returns from hospital in a low mood, Ian suggests to Denise that they should invite some of his friends over. This does the trick as Patrick brightens when his friends arrive. Now feeling more positive about everything, Ian tells Denise that it's time they got married. Later, they take Patrick to The Vic and he receives a warm welcome at the pub, although Cora is still avoiding seeing him.

Elsewhere, Tosh starts to struggle with the fact that her and Tina's baby wouldn't know its father. Tina starts to wonder whether the idea of starting a family is now off the cards.

Also today, Bianca and Terry are at odds. They're secretly sleeping together and while Bianca wants to keep it quiet, Terry wants everyone to know they're back together.

Finally, Phil is forced to come clean about Ian when Sharon catches him with Rainie. Sharon reminds Phil that it's not his problem, so Phil takes Rainie off to Cora's and tells her to look after her daughter.

    Tuesday

Mick pays a visit to Ian and delivers his ultimatum, but Ian still fails to tell Denise the truth. Soon afterwards, Rainie turns up at The Vic and demands that the Carters give her money to keep quiet about sleeping with Mick. When Mick reminds Rainie that he didn't sleep with her, Linda reaches breaking point and tells Nancy that Mick lied to protect Ian.

Later, Denise goes to return Cora's phone, as she has left it at the house after finally paying a visit to Patrick and apologising for her behaviour. Once Denise has left, Mick suddenly arrives and informs Ian that he needs to tell Denise immediately as Rainie is now on the warpath. Ian rushes off to catch up with Denise, but will he be too late?

Meanwhile, Peter is disheartened after the police report that they haven't found the person they believe is responsible for Lucy's murder. When Lola doesn't seem to understand his point of view, Peter turns to Lauren instead. Peter kisses Lauren and tells her that he loves her, but will Lauren respond?

Elsewhere, when Tina questions Tosh's change of heart regarding starting a family, Tosh finally admits that she is worried she won't be a good mother. Tina manages to reassure Tosh and they attend their appointment after all.

    Thursday

With Ian's life falling apart around him, he is stressed further when Cindy turns up. He immediately tells her to leave, but Cindy is hiding the fact that she is having contractions.

Cindy tries to explain that she had no choice but to leave as Gina was making arrangements to adopt her baby, but Ian remains too distracted to offer her any support. After being oblivious to Cindy's condition, Ian is shocked when she goes into labour!

Meanwhile, Nancy is furious over her parents' deception and has stormed out of the pub, so Linda urges Mick to fix things with her. When Mick tracks Nancy down, she rebukes him for the way he spoke to Rainie and how he lied to her. As Mick returns to The Vic, he hopes that the atmosphere at home will improve - but it soon becomes clear that Linda still hasn't forgiven him.

    Friday

Linda still can't forgive Mick for putting Ian before his own family. After storming out of The Vic, Linda confides in Sharon. Mick speaks to Shirley and Stan about the situation and later tries to say sorry to Linda. However, it appears that there may be no easy solution to this problem as Linda remains conflicted.

Meanwhile, Denise is shocked when she finds that Patrick's house has been broken into.

Elsewhere, Cora confronts Rainie about her poor life choices. Rainie finally promises to stay with Cora and get clean.

Also today, Lola is pleased when Dean decides to give her a permanent job at the salon, but she's not smiling for long as Peter decides to break up with her. Lola hopes they can fix things, but Peter makes it clear that he can't string her along anymore. He then goes to tell Lauren that he and Lola are no longer together.

EastEnders' Ronnie Mitchell will shock her sister Roxy when she arrives back in Walford later this month.

Viewers last saw Ronnie (Samantha Womack) in June when she decided to leave Albert Square after discovering that she was pregnant.

Ronnie's exit came following a difficult few weeks, which saw her end her relationship with Charlie Cotton (Declan Bennett) and attempt to dispose of a gun that she had been keeping.

With Phil currently the only person who knows about Ronnie's pregnancy, Roxy (Rita Simons) is shocked when Ronnie visits her with a visible baby bump.

As the sisters begin to talk, Roxy discovers the truth about the baby's father and reveals her own relationship troubles, with Aleks being married. Will the Mitchell siblings have some useful advice for each other?
