    Monday

The police search for missing April continues and Marlon is fraught with worry. Later, Ross finds April hiding in one of the cars at the garage. He tries to coax her out of a locked car, but is clearly out of his depth and struggles with his own emotions when she talks about her mum as though she were still alive.

As the day continues, the police urge conflicted Marlon and Laurel to make a statement to the press. Running out of options, Marlon is ready to come clean to the police about everything, worrying that April could have been taken by any one of Gary's dodgy contacts. Will Ross arrive with April in the nick of time?

Later, Marlon suggests to Laurel that they go ahead with the wedding to take April's mind off things.

Meanwhile, with the heavy police presence in the village, Chas worries for Aaron. Later, she is reassured when the police inform her that Aaron has been sighted down south, the plan seemingly working. Paddy notes Edna's curiosity in Aaron and realises that it was her who shopped him. In his frustration, will Paddy blurt out Aaron's secret?

Elsewhere, Vanessa throws caution to the wind as she agrees to have a relationship with Kirin, providing they keep it a secret.

Also today, after building bridges with his dad, Finn wonders if he should come clean to him about his search for his mum.

    Tuesday

Cain and Aaron arrive back in the village after successfully misleading the police, but everyone knows that Aaron is far from safe and they urge him to leave sooner rather than later. At the same time, Edna questions Paddy about who really started the fire.

Later, Aaron is insistent on saying one final goodbye to Paddy before making a break for it, but his need to say goodbye proves a big mistake when PC Stone spots him in the street. Aaron makes a run for it but is surprised when Edna offers him a place to hide. Confused, Aaron questions why Edna would come to his aid.

When the police knock at the door of Woodbine, Aaron is alarmed that his freedom rests in Edna's hands. It's a nervous wait as he listens in, especially when the police explain that they have reason to believe he is connected with the death of Donna Windsor. With nowhere to run, will Edna give Aaron up?

Meanwhile, Ross informs Paddy that he knows about Donna and Marlon's kiss, threatening to tell Laurel. Paddy tells Ross not to attend the funeral but he insists he is going, adding that once he is there, who knows what he might say…

Elsewhere, PC Stone explains to Bob that Donna died a hero in the line of duty. Later, Brenda tells Bob that Marlon and Laurel have decided April should not attend the funeral.

Also today, Dan and Kerry have both clearly missed one another, but Kerry refuses to admit it to him and tries to make Dan jealous as she talks about the men she met on holiday.

    Wednesday

Adam tries to convince Aaron not to turn himself in, offering to go on the run with him instead. Adam is relieved when he thinks he has managed to dissuade his friend but later, when Aaron is nowhere to be seen, Adam realises that he is doing the unthinkable. A guilty and fearful Adam informs Chas and Paddy.

Soon afterwards, Aaron pauses outside the police station, wondering if he's doing the right thing. Will he be able to go through with it? And will Adam really be able to stand by and let Aaron take the rap for his wrongdoings?

Meanwhile, Marlon continues to struggle with his emotions and the complexity of the situation, snapping at Bob when he suggests that April should be allowed to go to the funeral in order to help her understand that Donna isn't coming back. Later, Marlon goes through his eulogy with Laurel and she worries that she cannot compete with a dead woman.

It seems Marlon is not the only one struggling to come to terms with things. At The Woolpack, Diane orders Debbie to have a word with Ross, who is nursing a bottle of whiskey and glowering over at Marlon. Will Ross stay silent about Donna, or will he reveal all about her and Marlon's illicit kiss?

Elsewhere, Ashley tells Harriet he thinks he and Carole should just be friends, but will Ashley be able to let Carole down gently?

Finally, Sean's attempts to reconcile Dan and Kerry backfire.

    Thursday

The day of Donna's funeral has arrived, and Bob and Marlon are struggling to face up to it. Ross puts on his suit ready to go, but Debbie is determined to talk him out of it.

In a desperate bid to keep Ross away, Cain locks him in the garage. However, as the hearse and procession passes through the village, Ross spots an axe in the garage and considers his escape…

Meanwhile, Adam is facing up to yesterday's events as he heads to court for Aaron's hearing. Later, Adam has an announcement to make to everyone in The Woolpack, but just what will he reveal?

Elsewhere, Pete is worried about how concerned Debbie is over Ross. He confides in James about his worries and tells him that he is planning on asking Debbie to move in with him.

Also, Ashley is shocked when Carole's husband Graham turns up.

Finally, Finn tells Victoria that he got a message from his mum on Find My Family and she wants to meet him, but Victoria is suspicious.

    Thursday

Marlon and Ross scuffle when Marlon tries to prevent Ross entering the church. Cain intervenes, as Ross is about to come clean to everyone about Donna. Harriet continues the service but when Laurel tries to comfort Marlon, it's like she's not there.

At the same time, Brenda tries to explain what a funeral is to April, but she is at a loss at what to say and takes her to Gennie's headstone, where April spots Ross at the newly-dug empty grave. How will April take the news that the hole in the ground is where her mummy will be buried? How will Marlon react when he spots April clinging to Ross? And will Laurel have second thoughts about the wedding when she sees just how upset Marlon is over Donna?

Meanwhile, Ashley is mortified as Carole and Graham argue. When Graham leaves he decides to end it with her, but when Carole starts to badmouth Ashley, Harriet is the first to come to his defence. Will she be surprised at just how strongly she feels for Ashley?

Elsewhere, Finn is angry that Victoria told his dad he is looking for his mum. He is disappointed when James suggests the message may not be from her. Victoria watches Finn as he goes to delete the profile he set up to find his mother, but will he actually go through with it?

Also today, Moira offers Adam his job back, telling him that she is proud of him for telling the truth about the fire.

Finally, Pete builds up the courage to ask Debbie if he can move in, but will his nerves get the better of him?

    Friday

Marlon is a million miles away as the wedding party discuss their plan. He jumps up telling the party that Chas has texted him needing his help, but when Laurel later calls Chas and asks if she has spoken to Marlon, Chas says she hasn't.

Laurel wells up as she realises that Marlon has lied to her. Will Marlon have an explanation for his deceit, or is Laurel right to be worried?

Meanwhile, Debbie finds a tearful Ross packing his things, but she tells him that the grief will just follow him wherever he goes. He breaks down, angry that Donna didn't tell him she had cancer. Caught up in the moment, Ross kisses Debbie. Ross asks Debbie to say she loves him, but will Debbie give him what he wants or will she realise her love for Pete?

Elsewhere, Katie takes Sarah to the salon for a haircut, where Kerry jokes about all of Andy's exes being together in one room. Gabby asks Bernice if she can still go riding with Katie and Sarah, which creates an argument between the two ladies and Bernice stomps off.

Also today, Kerry has to explain herself when Bernice finds her sleeping bag in the salon.

Finally, Harriet feels sad when Ashley tells her that he is calling it a day with relationships, while Debbie tells Pete that she doesn't want him to move in.

Debbie was very intrigued by the idea of Ross having a relationship with Donna, not sure if that is cause she wants him for herself, doesn't want anyone else to have him, or just the fact Donna was a cop and Ross a crim. Pete seems a very straight option probably purely off the back of Cameron, wanting to feel safe was a priority, now she's getting back to normal she'll want to revert to type, plus they are quite damaged people with parental abandonment issues. Ross is vulnerable underneath, desperate to feel loved

And involving tongues unless I'm very much mistaken.
