Emmerdale has released new spoilers teasing an exciting summer ahead for the soap.

More details have been disclosed confirming Aaron Livesy's return, while viewers will also see Donna Windor's storyline take further twists over the next few months.

Aaron's return comes as his former best friend Adam Barton (Adam Thomas) finds his life turned upside down by the revelation that John was not his father. As he plunges into a downward spiral, Aaron (Danny Miller) arrives during his time of need, but will he be able to get through to him? And why is he really back?

Also coming up, Donna's illness will continue to dominate her behaviour as she grows closer to Ross Barton (Michael Parr), who remains unaware of her secret.

Fans have already seen Donna and Ross join forces to carry out a risky job, but with his feelings for her growing, Ross will embroil himself further into a life of crime.

Andy Sudgen (Kelvin Fletcher) will also face a challenging time when he suffers a potentially life-threatening injury. Andy's injury will have a massive impact on his romance with Bernice Blackstock, but she may not be the person he leans on and he could find support elsewhere...

Also coming up on the Dales, Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi) will forge an unlikely business partnership with Megan Macey, but another unexpected relationship may follow in the form of a married man.
