the writers should have planned a better exit for him, why give him the restaurant for what a week, they should have not got it financed

I cannot stand Alya. How can two siblings be so different. She is selfish and mean.
Can't wait to see her face when she finds out about Josh!
yas gets an std from geoff and stabs him

Coronation Street's Yasmeen Metcalfe is no longer living in fear of her evil husband Geoff, after he fell to his death in December, but that doesn't mean that the story ends there.
There is a lot of trauma that Yasmeen (Shelley King) needs to heal from, and the soap's executive producer Iain MacLeod has now shared more about what's next for Yasmeen as she continues to face the impact of Geoff's abuse and manipulative behaviour.
Speaking to Digital Spy and other media outlets as he teased the storylines coming up in 2021, MacLeod said that the soap was "very keen to reflect the real-world experiences that people like Yasmeen go through".
"Alya told her gran that it was over, but actually, it's not. The psychological impact of abusive relationships can last forever," MacLeod continued.
"There's also the practical side of what happened to Yasmeen. We know that Geoff was embezzling money from Yasmeen and taking out loans in her name, without her knowledge.
"A lot of that will come home to roost for Yasmeen, in a way that threatens to destabilise her recovery from what she's been through."
MacLeod also added that there will be "a ray of light" in Yasmeen's story too as Elaine Jones (Paula Wilcox) will play a "pivotal role in Yasmeen's recovery".
"The Elaine story will be a bit of a ray of light for Yasmeen," he shared. "Paula Wilcox is absolutely fantastic. Elaine played a pivotal role in the trial and she will also play a pivotal role in Yasmeen's recovery.
"They'll have an 'odd couple' friendship, and thankfully for Yasmeen it will be quite humorous in places. They're survivors of Geoff and trying to find their way as a double act," he added.
"So there'll be some light stuff for Yasmeen to play, but overall it's going to be a heartbreaking next chapter for her."
MacLeod has revealed a load more plot points about Corrie stories, and there's set to be a lot of heartbreak and tragedy in store for characters like Nina Lucas and Peter Barlow, while the Bailey family will be gaining a new member who will bring both humour and chaos to the cobbles too.

Zeedan to return
https://www.itv.com/coronationstreet...3yCQZrdB92B-wY
Coronation Street has revealed how Zeedan Nazir will make his cobbles comeback, with his arrival coinciding with his sister Alya Nazir making a massive mistake.
In scenes to air next week, excited Yasmeen Nazir (Shelley King) will announce to Alya (Sair Khan) that grandson Zeedan (Qasim Akhtar), who was last seen on the cobbles in 2018, is coming to stay for her birthday. Elaine Jones (Paula Wilcox) also calls round to help celebrate the special occasion.
Later in the week, Alya faces a stressful situation when the food delivery is late at Speed Daal while she's working. As Elaine tries to calm the angry diners, Alya attempts to juggle phone calls with both the delivery driver and the bank.
The delivery eventually arrives but that isn't the end of Alya's problems. She is horrified when a customer points out that there is a tarantula crawling across one of the restaurant's tables, having escaped from a boy's rucksack.
The rest of the diners flee, with Alya trying to remain calm as she helps the boy search for his missing pet. The spider is finally caught, but there's yet more trouble in store for Alya.
After checking the business bank account, Alya tearfully tells Elaine that Yasmeen has somehow managed to empty it.
But it turns out that the empty bank account wasn't Yasmeen's doing, and the call that Alya took from the bank earlier on was actually from a fraudster who has cleared out the account.
Desperate Alya leaves Zeedan a voicemail, admitting to him that she has been scammed out of thousands of pounds and she has no idea what to do to try to fix the situation.
As Zeedan arrives at Speed Daal, Alya is forced to explain her horrible mistake to Yasmeen. Zeedan offers to transfer ?50,000 to the Speed Daal account to keep the business tided over ? but will Alya and Yasmeen accept the offer?
It has already been revealed that Alya will have her suspicions about Zeedan's new-found wealth, and her worries will intensify when Zeedan is attacked on the street. Could Zeedan be in serious trouble himself?
Actor Qasim has said that he is "excited to be back" on the cobbles, promising that we can expect to see him involved in "an explosive storyline".
