Former Hollyoaks Later actress Amy Walsh has landed a stint in Emmerdale.
Amy, who is the sister of Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh, announced the news to followers on her Twitter page.

She said: "Looks like it's definitely happening. I've just signed on the dotted line of my contract for @emmerdale. Exciting times ahead! Whoop whooo!"
Details of who Walsh will be playing and her storyline have yet to be revealed, but it's thought that she will start filming at the ITV soap within the next few weeks.
Walsh previously portrayed the role of Jenifique McQueen in Hollyoaks Later's fourth series in 2011.
The storyline, which was Walsh's first TV job, saw Jenifique unveiled as a new member of the McQueen family when the feisty clan travelled to Ibiza for Mercedes's hen night.
As well as Hollyoaks, Walsh has appeared in a number of theatre shows.
