Fletch has a disastrous New Year's Eve when there's an explosion in a bar.

Meanwhile, Robyn helps a silent singer find his voice.

As Fletch exits a restaurant, he witnesses chaos and confusion as a gas canister ignites and explodes by another bar. Spotting Matt, the partner of Peter who has charged Fletch with assault, he soon realises his accuser is trapped inside.

As Fletch makes a dash in to help, the message soon gets back to Tess that Fletch is in danger.

Meanwhile, fights in reception mark a chaotic New Year's Eve and young Damon struggles to be heard. He's lost his voice and when he faints, Robyn takes on his care.

Despite catching him speaking, Robyn can't convince Damon to open up as he continues to communicate by writing. Will she be able to work up some New Year's magic and get him talking?
