MONDAY


Paddy Dingle may be lonely as hell right now but that's not to say he's looking for a new partner.

He's still nursing a broken heart following the break up of his marriage to love-cheat Chas after her devastating affair with Al Chapman tore their marriage and their family apart, and his self-confidence is now at a record low.

But Paddy's dad Bear is desperate to cheer up his son and has decided that a double date is JUST THE THING. What could possibly go wrong?!

In the Woolie, Paddy reels when he's ambushed into sitting to have a drink with Bear and two ladies, Carol and Bev. It's the last thing the vet needs right now.

Talk soon turns to going out on the town and Paddy is relieved when he manages to wriggle his way out of the plan.

Elsewhere, Naomi takes action to help her brother Ethan when she finds out he's considering resigning from work because of all the trouble with Greg.

With sleazy Greg trying to discredit Ethan's complaint, Naomi sets out to strengthen her sibling's case.

After some pretty persistent persuasion, she gets Nate to loiter in a bar ready to give Greg the eye, and he soon takes the bait? will their plan work?

Elsewhere, Bob is on a mission to broker peace between sisters-at-war Bernice and Nicola.


TUESDAY


Mandy Dingle has always had Paddy's back.

The pair were once married but despite their split years ago, thanks to Mandy's affair, they've remained good friends. In fact, Paddy's one of her best.

With Paddy's marriage in tatters following his wife Chas' affair with Al, Mandy knows her friend is hurting but she's about to twig that Paddy's pain is crushing him.

Mandy's going about her business when she spots Chas and Paddy having a row.

It's all over some messy tit-for-tat between the exes. As the ugly exchange flares, Chas reminds Paddy it was his decision to carry on living with her at the Woolie.

Watching on from across the street, Mandy sees Paddy left looking utterly crushed by the conversation.

What will the big-hearted Dingle do to help him?


WEDNESDAY


There's always been something between Mandy Dingle and Paddy, no matter their failed marriage.

But when he fell head over heels with Chas and got hitched it seemed as if that chapter was firmly closed.

Over the years, time apart and other relationships have done nothing to dent their friendship. And now the exes bond is about to be tested. Are they just mates these days, or is it more?

Knowing Paddy is in a very dark place, Mandy is concerned and on a mission to get him talking. And she won't take no for an answer.

After she seeks out reluctant Paddy, he eventually admits he feels totally lost.

Comforting him, Mandy hugs Paddy tight and empathises, sharing her story of love lost.

In the back room at the Woolie, the friends open a bottle of wine as their conversation continues.

Before long they're both in fits of laughter, reminiscing about their past and the songs they used to love.

As the booze flows, their feelings become more muddled. Eye contact becomes a problem as they fight the chemistry.

When a particularly loaded moment strikes, Mandy and Paddy share a look and give in to passion?

Will there be consequences?

Elsewhere, Mack is wrestling with his guilty conscience over his baby secret. He's desperate to tell Charity that he's the father of Chloe's unborn child, and struggles to join in with his fianc?e's banter in the pub.


THURSDAY


Sarah Sugden recently asked Chloe if Mack, her gran's fianc?, was the father of her baby.

She was on the money, of course, but her pregnant best mate did such a good job of covering up the terrible truth that Sarah was left feeling guilty for even thinking it!

Well, Sarah's about to find out she was right after all?

What will she do in response?

The secret slips out at home where Sarah is privy to a conversation the cheats are having downstairs.

Mack is desperate to tell Charity what they've done while Chloe is dead against the idea.

As Sarah listens in horror, knowing this will kill Charity and send her gran into a wild rage, Mack insists he's coming clean and that's that.

Bracing himself, Mack's about to speak out when Sarah comes stumbling down the stairs struggling to breathe!

With that it's panic stations as Charity insists Mack calls an ambulance which promptly whisks her granddaughter Sarah off to hospital.

Charity's on pins as she waits to hear what's going on with her granddaughter, who's spent her whole life in and out of the hospital.

As Mack learns about Sarah's illness and heart transplant from Charity, he knows he must postpone telling her about the baby.

When the doctor comes looking for Charity, is the news bad?

Cathy has a 16th birthday party and seems to be having a good time until Bob puts his size 9s in it. The teenager's mortified when her dad brings up the subject of her going on the pill to help with her heavy periods.

Ordering her friends to leave, Cathy goes into a rage... Nice one, Bob!

Elsewhere, Samson's ears prick up when he hears talk of a trust fund going to Esther, the baby he had with Amelia who's going out with Noah who's stepping up as a stand-in dad.


FRIDAY


Chas Dingle has had a gutful and she just doesn't want any more grief.

Her split from husband Paddy, thanks to her affair with Al, which had catastrophic consequences, has left her broken and numb. She's also still grieving the loss of her beloved mum Faith.

Relations between Chas and Paddy are currently at an all-time low, making for a frosty atmosphere behind the scenes at the Woolie where the exes are living together, apart.

So the last thing she needs is Caleb, her brother who's totally new on the scene, to stick his oar in.

Will Caleb manage to pacify his fiery sister when she goes in on him for interfering?

Elsewhere, Bob's got some making up to do with his teenager Cathy who shut down her birthday party thanks to his clumsy comments.

Bob's determined to stand strong and be the rock-solid dad Cathy needs. Can he make it up to his angsty adolescent daughter?

At a bar, Greg approaches and offers to buy Nate a drink ? the plan is finally in motion. With his phone recording, Nate is shyly standing by the bar with Greg as they flirt. Will the plan to honeytrap Greg work?

Meanwhile, Bob tries to keep the peace.

Elsewhere, Bear surprises Paddy when he reveals he has set up a double date. Paddy remains polite but is horrified that he's being forcibly thrown back into the dating pool. Bear isn't getting the hint that Paddy isn't in the right headspace for all this socialising as he encourages him to hit the town with their dates Carol and Bev.

Hour-long episode

Sarah overhears Mack and Chloe discussing their baby secret and discovers the truth.

Just as Mack and Chloe are about to reveal their secret to Charity, Sarah comes stumbling down the stairs, struggling to breathe. Charity instructs Mack to call an ambulance whilst Sarah hyperventilates.

In A&E, Sarah is wheeled off for medical treatment. Mack holds an emotional Charity and looks across to Chloe ? it seems the plans to tell the truth are on hold.

Upset Charity confides in Mack, worried about Sarah's life expectancy. Chloe clocks a doctor walking purposefully towards them and Charity is left terrified, knowing there's news.

Meanwhile, Cathy is enjoying her birthday gathering, but as Bob and Brenda spy on the kids, Brenda breaks the news to Bob that Cathy has been taking the pill. Bob is upset to have been kept in the dark.

Elsewhere, Samson is intrigued as he learns through gossiping Brenda that Noah's trust fund is being transferred over to an account for baby Esther.
