Emmerdale has cast new regular Katherine Dow Blyton.
The actress, who has appeared in The Syndicate, This is England and Hollyoaks, will play Harriet Finch - a rival for Ashley Thomas who wants to be the St Mary's church vicar.

Dow Blyton said: "I am delighted to be joining the cast of Emmerdale. Harriet is great fun and I'm looking forward to seeing the character unfold."
Harriet will be a relative of Edna and appear on screens next month.
