Neighbours has revealed a first look at a wedding day flashback for Terese Willis and Paul Robinson.

The former couple are just two of the characters who'll be taking centre stage in a special Flashback Week next month.

Neighbours has promised to take viewers back in time in the week commencing Monday, November 13, finally resolving the mysteries of the show's two-year time jump.

One key moment shown on screen will be the day that Terese and Paul were due to renew their wedding vows.

The show's new season launched in September with the revelation that Paul had unexpectedly jilted Terese at the altar on the big day.

Our new spoiler pictures now show this moment for the first time, as Terese's joy turns to heartbreak when Paul walks off in the middle of the ceremony.

The secret reasons behind Paul's decision will be revealed as part of the Flashback Week.

When Digital Spy recently asked Stefan Dennis ? who plays Paul ? about his character's motivation, he replied: "I can't tell you why, because it involves an incredibly big storyline which is coming up, and we can't unfold that at all.

"It's nothing like what you think. The one thing that we can tell you is that even though it looks like Paul was being his typical ruthless self, and a selfish person by shunning Terese at the altar, he actually did it for Terese and she doesn't know that.

"She doesn't realise that Paul, in his own way, he was protecting her. That was why he jilted her at the altar."

Paul's decision paved the way for Terese to move on with her life and marry Toadie Rebecchi, as seen in the first week of the new season.

Following that big twist at the beginning of the new season of Neighbours, soap star Rebekah Elmaloglou has teased trouble in paradise for Terese Willis and Toadie Rebecchi.

The new instalment of the beloved Aussie soap kicked off with the huge revelation that Elmaloglou's Terese and Toadie Rebecchi, played by Ryan Moloney, are now an item.

As Elmaloglou admitted in a recent clip posted to Instagram, she was as shocked as the next Neighbours fan.

My first reaction when I found that Terese and Toadie were going to be together, [get] married? I was completely surprised but very, very excited and happy about what was to come," she said.

The couple got married after the soap's two-year time jump, but things may not go as smoothly as they'd hoped moving forward, particularly now Toadie's ex-wife Melanie Pearson (Lucinda Cowden) is back in the picture.

"[Terese] feels at this stage that her and Toadie are quite solid and there's no concerns about having Melanie back," Elmaloglou explained.

Melanie got injured during the Erinsborough High school protest and Terese arranged for her to move in with Karl and Susan Kennedy so they could help her with her recovery.

"There is good heart there, Melanie does need good care and she doesn't have anyone at the moment," Elmaloglou said.

She then added: "That doesn't last very long though. I think [Terese] doubts herself and regrets it very, very quickly."

Speaking about Terese's ex-husband Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis), Elmaloglou teased more scenes to come and a possible reunion at some point down the line.

"Paul and Terese? they're always going to have this bond so I imagine some time down the track there'll be things going on," she said.

"The writers still got a few scenes with Terese and Paul together and they're really enjoyable. They're actually a lot of fun because it takes me back to when I first started.

"I can probably guarantee that there'll always be a Terese and Pul issue going on somehow."

Neighbours? Terese Willis will make a worrying discovery over Toadie Rebecchi and Melanie Pearson?s growing relationship.

Following the revival of the Australian soap on Amazon Freevee, there was a shock development as Terese and Toadie got married, but their relationship has become strained since the arrival of Toadie?s ex-wife Melanie.

It was recently revealed in the Flashback Week that Melanie knew Krista Sinclair, with the pair now facing a preliminary interview with the UK government over historical drug offences.

In scenes set to air on New Year?s Day (January 1), Melanie confronts Nell after learning that she asked Toadie for a character reference against her wishes.

Toadie later updates the latter, but not before Melanie had already read portions of the original document, leaving Toadie to apologise for making incorrect assumptions. He later urges her to keep defending herself, and she subsequently rehires her lawyer.

At the hearing, Krista confesses and explains how Melanie came into possession of the drugs, with her sober companion David explaining how proud he is of her. He later says she doesn?t need his brother Leo for support, but she admits they have a connection.

ollowing the hearing, Terese comes across Toadie?s laptop, and is left aghast at the revised character reference that speaks to Melanie?s ?unmatched selflessness? and her ?exceptional? status as a stepmother.

Terese is left reeling from the discovery; just what will she say to her husband?

Neighbours fans will see Melanie Pearson's latest lie spark chaos next week as Terese Willis fears that the Ramsay Street favourite is being betrayed.

Melanie's decision to deceive everyone over her love life causes problems when her supposed boyfriend starts to move on with someone else.

Upcoming episodes see Melanie arrange a date with Santo Oliveira, who's the fruit supplier for her Drinks Divas van.

The first date doesn't go well and Melanie rules out a second meeting. However, when her friends and neighbours get carried away over her seemingly finding happiness again, she lies that everything is going brilliantly with Santo.

Next week, Melanie speaks excitedly about Santo while Terese Willis and Toadie Rebecchi are both in earshot. She hopes that her ex-husband Toadie will stop feeling sorry for her if he believes she's in a happy new relationship.

The ongoing deception leaves Melanie feeling guilty when Karl Kennedy and Holly Hoyland give up their valuable time to support her over her fictitious 'second date'.

Karl also hears from Terese, who admits that she feels less guilty about her happiness with Toadie now that she knows Melanie is getting along with Santo so well.

However, Terese is soon alarmed to stumble across Santo on a date with Vera Punt. Rather than figure out that Melanie is lying, she assumes that Santo is being unfaithful.

Terese's concern grows when she next checks in with Melanie, who 'confirms' that her relationship with Santo is already exclusive and they're meant to be.

Seeing the benefits for herself if Melanie is preoccupied with Santo, Terese opts not to tell her about Vera ? but is it only a matter of time before the truth emerges?

Neighbours airs these scenes on Monday, January 29.

Terese Willis will lie to Toadie Rebecchi on Neighbours next week as she kept her connection to Paul Robinson quiet.

Terese and Paul were previously married before eventually divorcing, with Terese subsequently marrying Toadie last year.

The ex-couple will get closer in next week's (February 15) scenes as Terese gives Paul a shoulder to cry on following the death of his son, David.

Their meeting isn't a secret, however, with both Lucy and Chelsea seeing Terese as she leaves Paul to grieve.

Terese is in the firing line as soon as she returns home, with Toadie asking where she had been. Fearing that her closeness with Paul will reflect badly, Terese lies and invents a story to cover for her absence.

Lucy arrives the following morning to discuss Terese's meeting with Paul, but their conversation comes to an end as Toadie enters, leaving him suspicious as to the subject of their discussion.

Terese's secret is let out eventually, with Chelsea - maybe not accidentally - revealing to Toadie where his wife had been the previous night, with his anger taking him to the Kennedy household.

Once there, he confides to ex-wife Melanie about his doubts in his current marriage, and wonders if Terese does indeed harbour feelings for Paul.

Will the pair be able to move past this incident, or do they both have their eyes on old flames?

The death of David proved to be a shock for all involved, with actor Matt Wilson explaining that he will sorely miss playing the character.

"It's incredibly emotional, not only for the characters, but for us as the actors, because Takaya and I have had such a good mate-ship ever since we've been here," he said. "We really understand each other."
