Not watched it in a while , don't tell me Phil still hasn't cottoned onto the fact that the purchase of cars was a set up and that carl driving like a looney undid his seat belt.

EastEnders' Lauren Branning continues to secretly date Jake Stone over the coming weeks.

Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa) is bowled over by Jake, but is still determined to keep their relationship at a safe distance from Albert Square - not wanting any interference from her family or ex-boyfriend Joey.

With this in mind, Lauren turns Jake (Jamie Lomas) down when he suggests going back to her place, admitting that it's not a good idea.

However, Lauren does start opening up to Jake much more on their latest date, explaining that her family life is a mess and her dad is in prison awaiting trial for attempted murder.

Lauren tells Jake that she's fed up with putting on a brave face all the time, but he tries his best to comfort her and proves a welcome distraction from her other worries. Are the couple destined for a bright future?

EastEnders fans will see Arthur 'Fatboy' Chubb and Poppy Meadow reunite next week.

The couple's happy relationship recently hit the rocks as Fatboy reacted badly to Poppy's big plans for their future.

However, next week's episodes see the pair thrown back together again as Fatboy (Ricky Norwood) hosts a 'Miss Teen Vic' competition while running the pub in Alfie Moon's absence.

Although Poppy (Rachel Bright) initially disapproves of the idea, she is later impressed when she watches Fatboy make an inspirational speech about how true beauty is on the inside. As a result, Poppy is one of several local residents who agree to take part.

While Cindy Junior is the big winner as the competition reaches its conclusion, it's Poppy who is most affected as spending time with Fatboy makes her realise how much she still loves him.

With Fatboy feeling the same way, it's not long before they're back together again…

EastEnders airs these scenes on Tuesday, October 15 at 7.30pm on BBC One.

New EastEnders pictures have been released showing Alice Branning slapping Michael Moon in tonight's episode (October 18).

The surprising moment comes as Alice (Jasmyn Banks) remains caught in the middle of the ongoing animosity between Michael and his estranged wife Janine Butcher.

Janine will be livid this evening when she catches Michael (Steve John Shepherd) breaking the injunction which prevents him from having any contact with their baby daughter Scarlett.

As another row breaks out, Alice unexpectedly defends Janine (Charlie Brooks) and slaps Michael. Michael quickly storms after Alice, but whose side is she really on?
