Stick with the Turner family Paige...they`re better than the Willis family by miles.

    Thanks for letting me vent.
    Nice rant lol

I actually prefer the Willis family to the Turners as I find them more interesting (apart from Josh). I used to love Terese, although she's unfortunately become more unlikeable recently.

I agree about Terese. She always used to be bossy, but now she`s getting more unpleasant by the episode.
Maybe that`s why she`s wearing a lot of low cut tops and dresses lately.....to entice Brad back.

Neighbours doctor Karl Kennedy finds his life in danger after Brad Willis makes a terrible mistake that has huge repercussions.

Karl (Alan Fletcher) is rushed to hospital and diagnosed with a burned oesophagus after he accidentally drinks a toxic chemical that Brad (Kip Gamblin) has placed in an empty water bottle.

The story kicks off after Terese and Brad find themselves rekindling their relationship following months of difficulty for the pair.

Terese is supportive of Brad's newfound motivation to get back into making surfboards, and is so impressed by what she sees when visiting him in the Man's Shed that the pair find themselves having a spontaneous moment of passion.

However, their romantic encounter is cut short when Brad accidentally spills one of the toxic chemicals used to make the boards. Although he manages to clean up the mess, his temporary solution is to store the offending chemical in an empty water bottle.

Later on, disaster strikes when Karl, who has dropped by, places his water bottle next to the contaminated one, and unknowingly picks up the wrong bottle when he leaves.

When Brad realises the potentially dangerous mix-up, he urgently tries to track Karl down, but Karl doesn't answer his phone.

Meanwhile, having consumed the poisonous drink, Karl is struggling to breathe, but is found by Josh and rushed to hospital.

Once at the hospital, the staff diagnose a burned oesophagus, but Susan is badly traumatised by the experience and takes her anger out on Brad.

Although Terese assures her husband that Susan is only temporarily shocked and will calm down, things go from bad to worse for Brad that night when Susan makes it clear that she won't be forgiving him any time soon.

Neighbours airs these scenes on Tuesday, February 3 and Wednesday, February 4 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.

    Poisoned friendship
Brad's careless error comes at a very high price.

Following months of turmoil involving his ailing marriage and the discovery of his love child with Lauren, Brad has finally found on outlet for lowering his stress levels - crafting and refurbishing surfboards.

However, Terese's (Rebekah Elmaloglou) overzealous support for her husband's hobby quickly leads to a grave mistake which will have long-lasting ramifications.

With the Willis marriage now back on track, Terese is overcome with passion to see Brad (Kip Gamblin) revelling in his pastime. Suddenly in the mood for a spontaneous romantic encounter at the Men's Shed, Brad and Terese's ardour is interrupted when Brad accidentally spills some toxic chemicals he's using to manufacture a board. Although he cleans up the mess, Brad's careless decision to deposit the spilled chemicals into an empty water bottle has serious repercussions when a visiting Karl (Alan Fletcher) picks up the bottle thinking that it's the water that he'd been drinking from an identical bottle.

By the time a frantic Brad has discovered the mistake and contacts Karl, it's already too late as Karl has unknowningly swallowed the poisonous resin and is suffering breathing difficulties!

As Karl is diagnosed with a burned oesophagus, Susan (Jackie Woodburne) is so traumatised by her husband's plight that she unleashes her anger on Brad, screaming that she'll never forgive him for almost killing the man she loves.

While Terese is quick to reasurre a shattered Brad that Susan is shocked and not thinking clearly, it soon becomes apparent to Brad that Susan will not forgive him. Their long-standing personal friendship appears irreparably fractured and the tension quickly transfers to the professional arena when Brad allows Terese to petition Susan to give him time off from his school-teaching duties for a holiday in Canada. Susan's attack on Terese knows no bounds as she harshly questions Brad's devotion to his career.

Abandoning the Candanian trip to focus on his job and make amends with Susan, Brad confidently presents his 2015 teaching program for Susan's appraisal. As school principal and Brad's boss, Susan claims she's disgusted with Brad's lacklustre work and accuses him of prioritising his precious surfboards over teaching and his students' welfare.

Fed up with the tension, Brad openly accuses Susan of blaming him for hurting Karl, pushing Susan to announce that Brad isn't cut out for teaching!

Disillusioned with the job, Brad's inspiration to succeed crashes and burns, leaving him humiliated and unable to fight back when Susan publicly undermines him again. Having had enough, Brad makes the spontaneous and heartbreaking decision to quit and escape the nightmare that his teaching career has become.

    Passion never dies
Torn by his feelings for Lauren, Brad reveals her dead husband's guilty secret.

Despite their steamy romantic history together and the fact that they still clearly hold a torch for one another, Brad and Lauren have so far managed to resist temptation. How much longer can they keep lying to themselves about their true feelings?

Following Matt's (Josef Brown) tragic death, Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou) has been increasingly wary of Lauren's (Kate Kendall) hold over her husband, Brad (Kip Gamblin).

Brad and Lauren were each other's first true love and everyone knows you never forget your first, so a suspicious Terese can't help but worry that Brad's old feelings will begin to resurface.

For his part, Brad claims to just be looking out for Lauren - just as he promised Matt he would do - but there's no doubt he sees Lauren as something more than a friend.

Desperate to keep Lauren away from her husband, Terese is thrilled when she notices a hint of chemistry between Lauren and Robin (Max Brown), Lassiter's new graphic designer.

Terese organises for Lauren to show Robin the local art gallery scene and is thrilled when they hit it off but the arrival of Robin in Lauren's life clearly bothers Brad.

He claims he's just being protective of Lauren but when Brad's territorial feelings overcome him and he orders Robin to stay away from Lauren, he's surprised to discover himself acting like a jealous boyfriend.

Terese is similarly alarmed but when Brad apologises and reaffirms his love for his wife everything appears to be settling down - for a little while.

When Terese continues her less than subtle attempts to set Lauren and Robin up, Brad confronts her about her meddling and the couple argue ferociously.

Overhearing the exchange and witnessing the growing tension between Brad and Terese, Paige (Olympia Valance) admits to her brother that she thinks Brad would be happier with Lauren.

As Brad and Terese's marriage continues to unravel, Lauren struggles to cope as the date of her wedding anniversary looms.

She's tempted by the offer of a date with Robin but is then quickly overcome with guilt for even thinking about moving on from Matt.

Matt was one of only two men Lauren has ever loved - the other was Brad - so getting over him won't be easy.

Brad, frustrated that Lauren is putting her dead husband on a pedestal, lets slip that Matt was not the saint Lauren thinks he was.

With the cat out of the bag, Brad is forced to admit Matt's sordid tryst with Sharon Canning (Natasha Herbert) - and Lauren's world is turned upside down.

The man she thought she could trust more than anyone had betrayed her.

With his memory now tainted, what's to stop Lauren seeking comfort in the arms of ther only other man she ever loved?

If Terese is going to save her failing marriage, she'd better be prepared for a fight?

Also ahead on Ramsay Street, Brad Willis will find himself overcome with jealousy after Lauren Turner befriends a man who is working for Terese.

When Terese hires a graphic designer called Robin to create a new logo and brochure for the hotel, he immediately hits it off with Lauren due to their common appreciation of art.

Later, after Terese witnesses a strangely intimate moment between Lauren and Brad (Kip Gamblin), she decides to make the most of Robin's interest in Lauren and organises for her to show him the local gallery scene.

As the pair continue to bond, Robin is so impressed by Lauren's drawings that he asks her to contribute to the brochure, leaving her delighted.

Terese is pleased that her plan seems to be working, but when Brad witnesses Lauren and Robin laughing together, he isn't so pleased and queries Terese about the situation.

Terese is worried that Brad is unusually concerned by Lauren's enjoyment of Robin's company and voices her concerns, prompting Brad to reassure her that he's only looking out for Lauren, just as he promised Matt he would.

Unfortunately, Brad's territorial feelings continue to overcome him and he later approaches Robin, warning him to stay away from Lauren.

Robin is rattled by Brad's words and quickly leaves, while Brad is also left shaken at his own behaviour. Why is he acting so jealous?
