Next week on Casualty, Stevie suffers a brutal attack, while Jan struggles to cope.

Here's a full collection of the eight biggest moments coming up:

1. Stevie makes a discovery

Stevie is prepared for her Jac Naylor award interview but is disgruntled when David warns her about one of the panellists 'Medusa Moira'. She's left further rattled when she realises Ethan is also going for the award as well.

Furious, Stevie vents to Faith that given she has practically been running the department, this situation feels like a boys club stitch up.

Stevie then goes to treat patient Flo, where her day begins to take a further turn.

2. Stevie gets embroiled in a difficult case

As Stevie treats Flo, she struggles to get to the bottom of her symptoms.

When Flo has a seizure, the cause of which is a mystery, Stevie urges her to be honest about what she's taken ? but persistent interference from Flo's controlling boyfriend Jordan begins to become a problem.

Alone, Flo eventually admits that she may have tried something 'natural', but Stevie is alarmed by the severity of Jordan's control and what's really been going on.

Stevie later confronts Jordan, rebuffing Ethan's attempts to get involved when things turn nasty.

3. Jan clashes with Sah

Jan's low mood is palpable as she begins her shift, but she's comforted by the fact that her friend who died had a good send-off.

She heads out with Sah to treat Dev ? a frequent flyer ? who they drop home. However, Sah is unimpressed by how little time they gave Dev ? mental health being just as important as physical health.

Jan argues: 'What are they meant to do?' when their services are completely overstretched, but Sah interprets this to mean they shouldn't request any leave and flippantly tells Faith, when asked about the funeral that Jan attended, that they weren't allowed the time off.

4. Jan and Sah are caught up in an explosion

Following their earlier run-in, Jan and Sah are called out to an RTC where a family is trapped.

With the fire service still not on the scene, Sah and Jan grow concerned about the petrol smell and decide to free the daughter Fatima, promising they'll return for her parents.

They manage to get her safely into the ambulance, but just as Jan is heading back to the car, it explodes.

Jan and Sah are devastated as they bring Fatima, now an orphan, into the ED.

5. Stevie is attacked

Stevie is pacing up and down the corridor practising her answers for her interview, when Jordan finds her and beats her up.

Ethan is horrified to find a seriously injured Stevie curled up on the floor and rushes her into resus.

6. Marcus fights for Stevie

As Stevie recovers, Marcus later convinces Moira to let her go straight onto the Jac Naylor shortlist.

As Ffion later assures her they'll find Jordan and arrest him, Marcus tells Stevie that he'll never let anyone hurt her again.

7. Jan struggles to cope

Jan comforts Sah after the explosion, encouraging them to take the day off the following day ? despite earlier concerns about being overstretched.

Jan assures Sah and Ffion that she is fine and doesn't need any special treatment.

Alone in her office, Jan bursts into tears, clearly not coping well at all.

8. Marty faces new setbacks

Marty is feeling downbeat on what would have been a milestone day in their abandoned IVF cycle.

Robyn checks in on Marty, aware that he is struggling, but his day gets even worse when Adi's replacement arrives in the ED.
