Emmerdale's Rhona Goskirk and Vanessa Woodfield are caught in a compromising position in tonight's episode (August 26).

Rhona (Zoe Henry) is currently pretending to have romantic feelings for Vanessa, needing to keep her best friend on side as she remains her main source of pills.

The ongoing addiction storyline takes a new twist this evening as Vanessa (Michelle Hardwick) loses patience with Rhona and tells her that she needs to go into rehab.

A freaked-out Rhona then does everything in her power to keep Vanessa on side and kisses her again, which Rhona's husband Paddy (Dominic Brunt) witnesses when he bursts in unexpectedly…

Emmerdale airs the moment that fans have been waiting for this evening (August 28) as Rhona Goskirk's painkiller addiction is finally exposed.

Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) discovers his estranged wife's big secret when he heads back home and finds her unconscious after an overdose of pills.

With Marlon and Pearl also at the scene and eager to help, an ambulance is quickly called for Rhona (Zoe Henry). However, Paddy remains baffled by the shocking state that his partner is in.

Later at the hospital, Rhona's life hangs in the balance - and all becomes clear as Vanessa Woodfield arrives and is forced to reveal exactly what's been going on…

Hmm, yes, maybe she will move in with Moira since they're such good buddies. Perhaps they'll be a support for one another, especially with Moira's current worries with Adam.
