Cameron probably get blackmailed by Alex's nana.

As she did come looking for him but Cameron put her off the scent.

We all could see where Rhona and Vanessa was heading, YAWN Secret lesbian affair. I'm still waiting for the police to catch up with Cameron, his story to is doing my head-in. I thought the "powers that be" will do more with the Cain / Amy baby story but obviously not. So now Cain and Moira have just become background extras. Cain & Adam's story, I'm kinda looking forward to that. Other than that, Gennie had a beautiful and very touching send off, I am soooo gonna miss her.

The Adam SL is due to kick off very soon so I expect we will see a lot of Cain and Moira then. I am not sure how much involvement Cain will have with Kyle. I thought that maybe Moira would try to get him to show an interest once he arrives but maybe they will be too wrapped up in what is happening to Adam to get involved with Kyle?

Rhona Goskirk hits rock bottom as her painkiller addiction storyline continues.

Rhona's life spirals out of control when her estranged husband Paddy catches her kissing her best friend Vanessa Woodfield.

Although Rhona (Zoe Henry) is only manipulating Vanessa to continue getting pills from her, she can't admit the truth behind the shameful situation. As a result, Paddy is left thinking that Rhona is having an affair.

Things get even worse for Rhona when Vanessa discovers that she has been receiving pills from other sources as well as her.

At the end of her tether over Rhona's lies, a furious Vanessa packs her bags to leave. Afterwards, the prospect of being left alone has horrifying consequences for Rhona as she takes too many pills and suffers an overdose…

Monday

With the police making door-to-door enquiries, Cameron darkens as the pressure is kicking in. Debbie misinterprets his mood to be one of grief for his friend Alex.

As news spreads around the village, Cameron feels increasingly trapped, especially when Alex's granny Beattie arrives and reiterates to Edna how Alex would never have robbed her. When Beattie asks Cameron to organise a memorial for Alex, it seems like it's too much for him to deal with. Will the truth come out?

Meanwhile, a desperate Rhona calls dealer Gary for more pills, while a devastated Paddy remains convinced that she is seeing someone else. Rhona hits an all time low when she is forced to give Gary her wedding ring as payment for drugs.

Later, Laurel admits to Paddy that she saw a man heading into their house, so a crushed Paddy sets off to confront Rhona. At the same time, Vanessa tells Rhona that she needs to go into rehab. A freaked Rhona does everything in her power to keep Vanessa on side. What will Paddy walk in on?

Elsewhere, a shocked and teary Victoria is interviewed by the police and is suspicious when they start to ask questions about Alex's relationship with Declan. An angry Victoria confronts Declan, throwing a bunch of flowers down and telling him to put them where he left Alex to rot.

Also today, with the police arriving back at Home Farm, everyone is shocked to learn that Declan has already been arrested for murder and then released. With everyone seemingly sure of Declan's involvement, it seems the fight left in him has gone.

Tuesday

Rhona and Vanessa have slept in the same bed. Rhona tries to get her pills out of Vanessa's bag as she sleeps but fails. Rhona eventually resorts to taking pills from her secret stash and manipulates Vanessa when she tells her that she can't go through a withdrawal now, not with everything else that is going on.

At the same time, Marlon and Laurel are shocked when a broken Paddy explains that Rhona and Vanessa are having an affair. Later, Rhona and Vanessa go to see Paddy. With Vanessa doing all the talking, Rhona is unable to tell Paddy the truth and it's clearly killing her inside. Not long afterwards, Laurel asks Vanessa who the man was at the house, registering Vanessa's panic.

Suddenly vulnerable, Vanessa returns and checks Rhona's phone for messages while she sleeps. Then Vanessa searches the house for drugs. Rhona wakes to be confronted by a grim Vanessa, who has already packed to leave. Can Rhona talk her round? And if not, would the prospect of being left alone be enough to make Rhona do something stupid?

Meanwhile, Cameron sweats at the thought of the police coming to speak to him, but he forces himself to stay calm when they arrive. He tells them about Alex stealing from the garage, him begging for money and needing to get away, making sure his story adds up. Later, Beattie and Ruby prepare for Alex's memorial. Cameron explains to Beattie what he told the police about Alex. Will Cameron dare to feel a sense of relief that the day is over as they all make their final toasts to Alex?

Elsewhere, Adam feels the pressure when the police ask him how he felt over the affair between Alex and Moira.

Also today, Amy continues to think about Kyle but does her best to put a brave face on.

Wednesday

As Paddy refuses to believe that his wife is a lesbian, Rhona remains unconscious at Smithy Cottage, surrounded by alcohol bottles and empty pill packets. At the same time, a devastated Vanessa confides in Moira and the truth begins to unravel.

Later, Paddy steels himself to have it out with Rhona, but is startled by what he is confronted with when he goes to see her. At the hospital, Paddy fears Rhona may not survive and wants answers from a guilt-ridden Vanessa over what is going on...

Meanwhile, Amy confides in Zak about Kyle's adopted parents dying. Zak can see her inner turmoil and asks whether she has changed her mind about giving him up. Amy confesses that she is not sure. Later, Val arrives at the Dingles' to find Amy holding a picture of Kyle. Amy admits that she cannot stop thinking about him.

Elsewhere, Cameron overhears Cain asking Adam why he is being twitchy about the police and their enquiries, advising Adam to stop acting like he has something to hide. This gives Cameron food for thought. Later, Cameron approaches Beattie and plants a seed of suspicion as to who could be behind her grandson's death.

Also today, Georgia has bought David and Priya a trip to a bridal boot camp, but a less-than-impressed David attempts to worm his way out of it.

Thursday

At the hospital, Paddy is at Rhona's bedside, worried about the state of everything. He is grateful for Pearl's continued support and explains to her how Rhona is an addict. Rhona suddenly begins to bleed from her nose and everyone stands back as the medic gets to work. When Pearl heads back to the village, she urges Vanessa to stay well away.

Later, Paddy is shocked at how bad Rhona is. Rhona is soon awake but full of self-loathing. Paddy doesn't quite know how to talk to her. Not long afterwards, Rhona tries to explain things to Marlon when the doctor arrives. Marlon and Rhona are both shocked when the doctor reveals the damage she has already done to her body. It is very serious...

Meanwhile, Jai is clearly missing Nikhil. Later, Noah listens as Jai and Charity argue. He tells them that he is going to see Jacob and slips out as they continue rowing. At the same time, Jacob tells Alicia that he is heading off to see Noah but he looks guilty. The penny drops for Alicia and Charity when they realise the boys are missing...

Elsewhere, Val worries that Amy's feelings for Kyle aren't going to go away. The police arrive to speak to Val and Pollard so Amy slips away. She later assures Pollard she is fine over Kyle and proves it by giving the photo to Zak. Without realising it, Pollard and Val confirm Cameron's story to the police when questioned. They tell them that Cameron and Alex had a set-to over money before Alex vanished.

Also, Sandy and Sean plot to get Edna's medals back from Pollard, while Alex's murder is discussed and Cameron is quick to fuel the gossip when the finger seems to point at Cain.

Rhona struggles to take in the news about the seriousness of her condition and is guilty over how much Paddy has suffered. Paddy arrives but is shocked by how bad she is as the doctors try to tend to her.

Soon Vanessa accidentally lets it slip to Laurel how Rhona was looking for drugs while Laurel was carjacked. Will this bombshell affect things for Rhona and her son Leo? Later Rhona seeks reassurance from Paddy that he will still love her after everything - but can he?

Meanwhile, Pollard marches Sean out of the B&B with the medals. He tells both him and Sandy that he wants £500 or he will go to the police. Sean returns the medals to Edna but lies over how he's paying Pollard back. He and Sandy wonder what they're going to do now. Later, Sean accidentally knocks Debbie's wing mirror loose with his football and Cameron overreacts by grabbing him, which is seen by Adam. Dan is determined to make Cameron pay for this.

Elsewhere, Alicia is fraught, panicking over where Jacob and Noah are. She calls the police while Charity's fears also begin to mount. At Home Farm, Noah and Jacob have got in and are discussing Declan when he furiously appears at the doorway. The boys are shocked to have him surprise them and Noah warns Declan to stay away from Charity - but how will Declan react?

Also, Amy is emotional when Belle returns the photograph of Kyle to her.


Friday

Vanessa is hurt that Rhona doesn't want to see her. At the hospital, Paddy tells Rhona that Vanessa is staying at Moira's for now. Not long afterwards, the doctor notifies Rhona that she can go home.

Back at the village, Paddy is adamant as he tells Vanessa to move out for good. Vanessa blurts out about her and Rhona kissing and Paddy is mortified as Pearl is listening. Later that day, Marlon tells Paddy that he and Laurel are taking Leo away for a bit. At the hospital, Moira visits Rhona. She tries to be supportive but warns her that it won't be easy to get better.

Meanwhile, Dan confronts Cameron over hitting Sean but is unnerved by his reaction, so Sean begins to plot his revenge. Later, Cameron panics when he receives a text saying that he hasn't got away with it. Paranoid about having killed Alex, Cameron is scared that someone knows the truth. Cameron discreetly leaves a voicemail, asking the mystery texter what they want.

Unbeknownst to Cameron, Sean and Amelia listen to his voicemail and Cameron soon receives a text asking for £500 to be left in a bin. Cameron secretly takes cash from the tin when Debbie is out of the room and heads off to leave it at the suggested drop. But will Cameron learn the identity of his blackmailers?

Elsewhere, Declan is at a loss - he needs to free up some capital soon. Steve is intrigued to learn that Declan still hasn't found investors and Nicola warns him to stay well clear, but can Steve resist?

Was gonna say Nikhil gives the dictaphone to chas with the rest of gennies stuff when he leaves the village.

Although if the accident is recorded on the dictaphone it would become clear Cameron is the reason Gennie is dead if it was still recording and works. In which case I would have thought chas would have gone to the police to get Cameron done rather than blackmail.

But chas is the only person who would know.....unless someone like Robbie overhears when she plays the dictaphone and he blackmails him, he's the one person who wouldn't go to the police and would use it to his advantage and who hates Cameron.
