Ken Barlow's family come face-to-face with him for the first time since his attack.
Ken (Bill Roache) was pushed down the stairs by a mystery culprit last week and has spent the past few days unconscious in hospital, preventing the police from getting many answers on who was to blame.
When Ken is finally brought round by the doctors next week, the police insist on seeing him first and they break the news that his fall was no accident.
Even though Ken can't remember what happened to him, he stubbornly refuses to listen when the detectives point out that the culprit was probably a member of his own family.
Covering for his loved ones, Ken insists that nobody close to him would want to harm him – and he also keeps very tight-lipped about the many grudges that the Barlows held against him in the run-up to his attack.
Ken may be loyally defending his family to the authorities, but it's a different story when Tracy, Peter, Daniel and Adam all come to see him at the hospital.
As the reunion descends into bickering, Ken gets freaked out as he starts to realise that one of them really could have wanted him dead. But as Ken orders them all out, who'll be left looking the most guilty?
