I wished Priya left, she's annoying and horrible to everyone else I hope if she does get to the altar with David, she'll get jilted and he'll end up with Alicia.

Cameron makes his way in the dark with a spade and some tarpaulin to find Alex's body. Once he finds the place, he begins to dig. When Cameron finds a shoe, he realises that he has found Alex. Suddenly, headlights and vehicles arriving disturb Cameron as the workmen turn up with diggers and vans. Panicking and with nowhere to hide, Cameron urgently attempts to loosely cover the body and his spade. It's a badly done and rushed job, as Cameron is forced to beat a retreat into the shadows and get away from the men who have arrived to start work.

Cameron gets into his van shaky and flustered before driving off. He has escaped for the time being, but he is terrified in the knowledge that the hasty scattering of soil over the body is not enough and it's just a matter of time before it is found. What will be his next move?

Meanwhile, the launch party for the new veterinary team at Home Farm is in full swing, but Rhona is acting tetchy and uptight. She can't concentrate as she has run out of painkillers. When Katie's first aid kit does not hold any relief, Rhona jumps at the chance to take an urgent call-out that comes in. Away from the party and on her way to see the sick animal, Rhona makes a detour via an all night chemist.

Later, the call-out still awaits as Rhona has not shown up, and Paddy and Vanessa wonder where she could have gone. Paddy goes on to make his speech to introduce the new team, although Rhona is not there. She is busy, secretly popping her newly acquired pills from the chemist, but Vanessa is starting to get suspicious.

Elsewhere, Steve suggests that he could help Nicola work on Jimmy when it comes to her school plans for Angel, while Chas is relieved that Cameron is not having an affair but Gennie still thinks he's being weird.

    Tuesday

A frustrated Chas tries to talk to Cameron, but he is evasive. He grabs his passport and leaves the room, telling her that her suspicions are the problem. Chas challenges Cameron over his recent behaviour and is shocked to realise that Cameron had known she was following him last night. She sees his packed bag and realises Cameron is leaving, but she believes she has pushed him to it.

Soon afterwards, Chas begs Cameron to communicate with her. Cameron is slow and deliberate as he asks Chas not to freak out if he tells her something. Cameron tells Chas to sit down - is Cameron about to confess?

Cameron is aggressive towards Chas and Gennie
At the same time, Gennie is on her way over to see Chas and Cameron to apologise for her suspicions, knowing that she is responsible for winding Chas up. However, Cameron is not in the right frame of mind for other people.

Meanwhile, Paddy believes the vet launch was a success despite Rhona's absence. However, Vanessa is worried about where she could have gone. Later, when Rhona returns home vague about what took her so long, Vanessa's suspicions are fuelled.

Elsewhere, Rishi is alarmed when Priya decides that he needs to take a paternity test to prove that he is the dad. Rishi does his best to put her off, but will he manage to stall her? At the same time, Jai is appalled by Priya's obvious greed - she clearly just wants more inheritance, which Archie's arrival will hinder. Jai explains that if Rishi wants to make it up with Priya, he will have to speak to her in the language she understands best - money.

Also today, Steve attempts to talk Jimmy around to Nicola's idea, while Amy warns Andy that Kerry is manipulating him and something bad will happen if he doesn't wake up soon.

    Wednesday

Chas has stayed the night at Gennie's following the rows with Cameron. While Chas is occupied, Gennie slips out and finds Cameron. Seeing that he is about to leave, Gennie is firm as she tells Cameron that he needs to be straight with Chas. While collecting more of his belongings, the situation quickly changes for Cameron when he overhears Declan telling Jimmy that work has been halted on the site as there is a problem with planning permission. This news gives Cameron more time and he breathes a sigh of relief.

Soon afterwards, Chas returns home to find Cameron still there. Chas demands the truth from him - knowing that last night he had been on the cusp of telling her something really significant. Thinking on his feet, Cameron feeds Chas a new line - he has been to see Dr Abbott because he has been suffering from depression for months. But will Chas believe him, and will his revelation be enough to throw Gennie off his case?

Cameron shows Gennie a menacing side
Later, Gennie is alarmed when Cameron reveals a hard sinister side as he visits her and gives her veiled threats…

Meanwhile, it is Paddy's first day back as a practising vet and he is enjoying all the fuss. Rhona feels on edge, suspecting that Vanessa is watching her.

Elsewhere, David tries to convince Priya to meet Rishi for lunch, but she refuses. Soon afterwards, Priya is upset to watch as David coos over baby Archie. Priya later delivers David a tough ultimatum.

Also today, Nicola wants Jimmy to wear a suit for the school open day but he is nonplussed by the effort she is going to, while Victoria drops Amy in it when she unwittingly lets it slip to Val that Amy and Andy have kissed.

    Thursday

Rishi collars David and promises that he is going to set him and Priya up for life by buying them a wedding gift - a new shop. David looks stunned and delighted, until Priya walks in on their cosy meeting and throws scorn on Rishi's plans. Rishi's hopes of making up with Priya look like a distant dream. Priya is appalled that David could even have considered accepting Rishi's offer. Their argument escalates in the street when Rachel interrupts them.

Priya gets a slap from Rachel after winding her up
Soon Rachel takes the full wrath from Priya over the whole sorry situation. However, Rachel is defensive, slapping Priya for what she has said. Alicia interrupts them and tries to get involved, but then Priya slaps Alicia. To Priya's horror, David intervenes, warning Alicia that she cannot afford to do this with her probation. Later, David tells Priya that she cannot go around hitting people. His words are too much for Priya, who first tells Rishi and Jai she doesn't want them at her wedding, and then makes a furious threat to David. Is Priya having doubts over her forthcoming wedding?

Meanwhile, it's time for Brenda to receive her results and she is anxious. When the consultant arrives to deliver the news, Brenda is given her prognosis. Bob and Gennie muster all the energy they have to remain positive, and Brenda also does her best to accept what the consultant has told her. However, it's not as promising as they had hoped.

Elsewhere, Cameron asks Declan if he could get a bit of extra work by helping out with security at the site. Later, Declan tells Cameron that he has put him forward for casual labour with the site foreman.

Also today, Nikhil confronts Cameron over threatening Gennie last night. Gennie decides to tell Chas about Cameron's threatening behaviour, still suspecting that he is hiding something. Cameron is terrified to see Gennie going into the back room to talk to Chas and realises her plan. He listens for a moment, before following her in and making his apology for his behaviour. Will Gennie believe him?

Finally, Nicola decides a ballet scholarship is the best way to get Angelica into private school, Kerry acquires a credit card and purchases an all-inclusive two-week holiday to Tenerife, while Dom mentions to Alicia that he and Gemma need somewhere bigger to live and starts looking for houses.

David is worried as he asks Priya if they are still getting married and she doesn't respond. He insists to Priya that he has no feelings for Alicia and she can trust him. Soon afterwards, Georgia is concerned for her daughter as she fights back the tears, complaining that everything is going wrong. Georgia reassures Priya that David worships her, which makes her even more confused. Rishi then tries to make amends with Priya, but she says that she will never forgive him. Georgia feels for Rishi as Priya asks him to go. Is their relationship completely ruined forever?

Later, Priya is looking for David and she soon finds him with Alicia at the shop. They've been having a friendly chat and seem flustered. A frustrated Priya heads into the house, her patience being tested to the limit. As Priya questions David about Alicia, she is consumed by doubt and suspicion. It's not long before Priya makes a big decision over their wedding.

Meanwhile, Rhona knocks back her last pill as she tries to get an appointment to see the doctor. Later, Rhona tries to cover her alarm when Dr Abbott tells her that she is lowering the dose of painkillers. At Smithy Cottage, Rhona takes a number of her new pills and is upbeat as Vanessa gets the last of her things. Paddy is smug as he helps Vanessa pack - she is moving and he has got his way! But how long can Rhona hide her problem?

Elsewhere, Gennie is suspicious about Cameron's idea to hold a Woolpack fundraiser in aid of Brenda's hospital, but Nikhil thinks he could be being genuine. Later, Gennie wants to cancel the honeymoon because of Brenda's health and her continuing concerns about Cameron's behaviour. However, Brenda says there are plenty of people willing to help while she is away.

Also today, Amy worries about Kerry going on holiday with Sarah and Jack, while Cameron is appalled when he sees that Chas has asked Zak to come and talk to him about his depression.

    Friday

David drowns his sorrows following Priya's decision. Pollard suggests that perhaps Priya has given him a gift - the opportunity to make a go of things with Alicia and Jacob guilt-free. He adds that David has clearly been suppressing his feelings for long enough. At the same time, Nikhil tries to get through to Priya, but she claims that David does not love her. When Nikhil tells her that if she does not stop this nonsense she will lose David, Priya is left torn.

    Alicia and David kiss
Back at the pub, David intercepts Alicia in the Woolpack toilets, telling her that he and Priya are over, the wedding is off and he has feelings for her. Alicia struggles to come to terms with what David is saying. Could it all be a little too late, or are his clumsy words what Alicia so desperately needs to hear? It looks like a kiss seals the deal, but how will Alicia react to knowing that it was Priya who dumped David?

Meanwhile, Amy cannot help but protest when Rhona indirectly refers to Kerry as Andy's wife, and Sarah and Jack as their kids. Amy implies that the children might not be safe in Kerry's care. Kerry bites back saying Amy is jealous. Later, Val worries for Amy and the truth behind her quips. Val suggests that they need to talk some sense into Andy, otherwise Sarah and Jack could end up suffering. As Amy recalls her childhood memories, Val insists that they must make Andy listen. Amy is apprehensive of what is to come, and rightly so when a later confrontation ends in a fight!

Elsewhere, Vanessa encourages a small leak at Brook into something more severe. She then calls Megan, claiming that the plumbing must be dodgy and she doesn't feel safe. Megan comes to inspect the problem and Vanessa lays it on thick, saying that she will have to move out that day. Later, Vanessa approaches Rhona to explain about the flood. She wangles herself an invite from Rhona to stay back at Smithy. Unable to argue, Paddy is backed into a corner.

Also today, Cain is still cold towards Debbie, who barely seems to notice - more concerned about sorting out a business deal and a new supplier. Is she prioritising work over her children?

Priya Sharma's life begins to spiral out of control on Emmerdale next week as her family's dramas take their toll.

Rocked by her father Rishi's recent revelation, Priya struggles to keep her emotions in check and risks ruining her relationship with David Metcalfe in the process.

Here, Fiona Wade - who plays Priya - teases the tough times ahead for her character and the rest of the Sharmas.

How does Priya feel about Rishi's claim that he is the father of baby Archie?
"Priya is devastated by it. At first she thought it was a joke, because it really was the last thing that she expected to hear. I think it's just absolute shock and devastation. She feels completely sick and traumatised by the whole thing."

Why does the news upset Priya so much?
"I think there's a few different reasons. When it comes down to it, the Sharmas are close and they're quite solid, even though the parents have split up. Priya is like a little princess and she really looks up to her dad - he's never been able to do any wrong in her eyes.

"It's a huge shock when Priya thinks that Rishi is not the man she thought he was. She just feels like her whole security and trust has gone.

"It's also the fact that Priya just can't believe that Rishi would go with Rachel, and believing that she now has a brother who she doesn't even want to think about. This situation is huge for her."

Jai suggests to Rishi that Priya is only upset because this will mean less inheritance money for her! Do you think there's any truth in that?
"Personally, I don't really think that. If we dig deeper into the storyline, Priya might think that at some point - but her initial feeling is just pure shock.

"You'll see that Priya is also concerned with wanting to make sure that this baby really is Rishi's. She doesn't want to believe it's true, and she fears that Rachel is just sponging off her dad."

Is that why Priya wants Rishi to have a paternity test?
"Yeah, I think Priya is just clinging onto any hope that it's not true. She's genuinely ashamed and embarrassed, because her family has a very good reputation and they're doing well for themselves. She can't believe what's happening now. Priya also knows that Rachel is less fortunate, so she reckons that Rachel is just a gold-digger and money-grabber."

How does Georgia react to the news?
"As Georgia and Rishi have been separated for a while, Georgia's main concern is getting Priya and Rishi to make up. She wants to keep the family together."

Rishi tries to make amends by offering to buy Priya and David a new shop as a wedding present. How does Priya feel about that?
"Priya is absolutely furious, especially as David has seen Rishi in secret to discuss this, when he knows how much she doesn't want to talk to her dad right now. With the whole Alicia thing going on too, it just turns Priya crazy. She thinks that everyone she ever believed and trusted has let her down.

"When Rishi suggests buying a new shop, David considers his offer, but Priya is sickened by it as she doesn't want anything from her father now."

Priya's fury later leads to violence when she gets slapped by Rachel and then slaps Alicia herself! Was that fun to film?
"Yes, it was fun to film but it really hurt my arm! I also hit Natalie Anderson by mistake, but fortunately she was fine! I was also worried that I'd hurt Gemma Oaten!

"It was very funny, because we're all girly girls. I've never hit anyone in my life or done anything like that. I think we were all totally out of our comfort zones about how we'd do it. It took forever, because we needed to make sure that it looked right. With me not being very experienced with slapping people, it took a while!"

When David intervenes, his main concern is making sure that Alicia doesn't slap Priya back because it could jeopardise her probation. Is Priya angry over that?
"Yeah, this is massive for her. She's already angry with David because he's lied to her again. He'd said that he was too busy to have lunch with her, when really it was because he was meeting up with Rishi.

"When the fight happens and David defends Alicia, it's a downhill spiral for Priya. She feels more and more alone - she hasn't got anyone. David is the only person she really trusts and loves, but it seems that he's not supporting her. Priya is really upset."

Priya then starts to have doubts over her entire relationship with David. Could this be crunch time for them?
"Yeah, I think there's definitely going to be a question mark over what Priya is going to do next. However, I think the audience will see that Priya really loves David and she has these true feelings.

"For the first time, people will see a vulnerability and insecurity in Priya. Usually she handles things and she's strong, but now you'll see her defence mechanism. She doesn't think she can rely on anyone, so she pushes everyone away for a little bit. David is worried, because he's never seen Priya like this before."

How does David react when Priya starts threatening to call off the wedding?
"David is shocked, because he'd never think that Priya would go through with this. I'm sure he wouldn't want Priya to finish with him and call off the wedding."

With his relationship with Priya seemingly over, David shares a kiss with Alicia. Would Priya feel vindicated if she knew this?
"Definitely. She'd think that the niggling feeling she had was right. It's been there for a while, but Priya tries to ignore it. The thing is, David always denies it - Priya questions it and he reassures her. When you're in love, you do try to accept things."

How did you feel about the big Rishi twist?
"I think when we all read it, it was a great twist to an already great storyline. They've brought in this big twist that's just going to affect the rest of the family and the rest of the village. It includes Rachel's family as well as the Sharmas.

"At the moment, it's affected Priya's relationship with David in a big way. I think it's a really great twist and an exciting one, because the more drama for us as actors, the better!

"It's also hard to watch because it's a great tragedy - Rishi is getting a very hard time when he's just trying to do the right thing. For viewers, I think it'll be really frustrating but also gripping and amazing at the same time."

Emmerdale star Dominic Power has admitted that he felt slightly uncomfortable when filming his character Cameron Murray's latest gruesome act.

Next week, viewers will see Cameron dig up the body of his murder victim Alex Moss so that he can move it somewhere else. He resorts to the desperate measure as the land where Alex is buried is about to be dug over for development.

Speaking of the dark scenes, Power explained: "It was a very strange experience. Sometimes when you go into filming, you know what the scene entails and you get a bad taste in your mouth.

"Even though we know that it's only pretend, there's a part of you that is in that environment - you put it into your head to make sure that it's convincing. You have to convince yourself first in order to convince your audience.

"But it's also been exciting, so that's great. Night shoots are always great fun anyway. I did find myself sat in the half dug-out shallow grave and I did have to look out and ask the crew, 'Has Emmerdale always been this dark? Can this really be going on in Emmerdale?'

"It does surprise me. Cameron does find the body, and the camera doesn't shy away."

Cameron's situation gets even worse when workmen turn up with diggers and vans while he is in the middle of his terrible task.

Power continued: "Basically, he's disturbed and he's like a rabbit caught in the headlights. There are literally headlights, and he is caught in them!

"Cameron has to quickly cover up everything that he's done and put it all back, very hastily. It's a shoddy job, so he knows that he has to get back there. All it would take is for someone to kick a leaf and they would find something."

Back in the village, Cameron doesn't just have the body to worry about as his partner Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) and her half-sister Gennie Walker (Sian Reese-Williams) realise that he is behaving suspiciously.

Power said: "Cameron is covering with Chas and having to make all these excuses, so that's putting strain on that relationship. Gennie is also being a busybody and she's interfering, as she thinks Cameron is up to something. She's never trusted him from day one, as she thinks that he's going to end up having an affair.

"So Cameron's got all these other exterior forces against him, but all he wants to do is get that body out of the ground and move it to somewhere else before someone finds it. He is a worried man.
