Emmerdale stars Natalie J Robb and Jeff Hordley have told Digital Spy that there is big drama in store for the Bartons as Moira's secret is finally exposed.

Cast and crew have already filmed the dramatic scenes which see everyone learn that Adam is James's biological son rather than his nephew - a bombshell that Moira was desperate to keep under wraps.

With the truth about to cause shock waves for Moira's loved ones, we asked about the impact on her relationship with Cain and whether he can forgive her.

Natalie also shares details of how the secret will affect Adam as he struggles to come to terms with his true paternity.

The British Soap Awards took place at the Hackney Empire in London on Saturday night (May 24). Emmerdale won one prize at the event, taking home the Spectacular Scene gong for the Woolpack flood and siege.

Well Cain has turned Charity down twice so it would be a bit ridiculous if he all of a sudden decided that he fancied a reunion with her. Ah wait, I was forgetting that this is Emmerdale where they change the characters to suit the storyline :/

I can't understand Charity & Declan get away with arson and Charity with the whole miscarriage thingy. And yet the secret is blown about Adams real father, I mean WTF? The powers that be, need to get their writers straightened out, that's just weird.

More because she never told him about her past with James and she also expressed that Cain was the first person she ever cheated on John with (her husband of some many years) which probably boosted Cain's ego

i read aaron comes to help adam who is on some sort of self destruct when he finds out . and moira is always getting on at cain about trust but she dosent trust him enough to be honest hope he leaves her and moira/james can be boringly happy together
