Coronation Street's Kylie Platt returns to her wild ways later this month, putting her unborn baby at risk with shocking consequences.

The drama begins when Gail McIntyre (Helen Worth) finds her bank details scribbled on a piece of paper and is shocked to realise that it's Kylie's handwriting.

Gail immediately realises that Kylie (Paula Lane) must have helped Lewis Archer with his recent con, so she privately confronts her wayward daughter-in-law and threatens to call the police.

Begging for a chance to explain herself, Kylie confesses that Lewis was blackmailing her, having found out that she had a one-night stand with another man on Christmas Day.

Kylie covers for Nick by deciding not to reveal his involvement, but she explains that she was only trying to protect her marriage when she helped Lewis.

Gail is far from sympathetic after hearing this explanation, especially when she realises that the mystery guy in question may be the father of Kylie's baby.

Terrified that Gail will tell David the truth, Kylie later hits self-destruct - heading to The Rovers and proceeding to get drunk.

Stella tries to get Kylie to stop, but when she ignores her and clambers up on to a table, disaster beckons as Kylie suffers a nasty fall and hurts herself badly…

When Kylie is rushed to hospital with the Platts at her side, there's another bombshell for Gail as it dawns on her that Nick was the guy Kylie slept with at Christmas.

With David fearing the worst as he waits for news on Kylie and the baby, will Gail tell him the truth - that the child he's so scared of losing may not be his?

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Wednesday, February 20 at 7.30pm on ITV.

    Monday

David heads off to London for a course, leaving Kylie at home.

Later, when Gail finds a piece of paper with her bank details on in the pocket of Lewis's blazer, she realises it isn't in Lewis's handwriting. Will she discover who the writing belongs to?

Meanwhile, Gloria returns from the Algarve unannounced with Eric, her new fiancé, in tow.

Elsewhere, when Tim tells Faye that he's been laid off at work and will have to take a job in Kent, she's gutted. But determined to keep her dad nearby, Faye soon comes up with a plan.

Also, Mandy moves the rest of her stuff into Lloyd's flat, including Flash, her tortoise.

Finally, Katy's friends swoon over Ryan.

Kylie tries to deny it's her handwriting, but Gail can see through her lies and threatens to call the police.

As Kylie is forced to admit to Gail that Lewis was blackmailing her, will she confess all about her one night stand?

Meanwhile, when Gloria admits that she's only known Eric for six weeks, Stella is horrified - convinced she's only after him for his money. But how will Gloria react when she discovers that Stella and Jason are an item?

Elsewhere, Jason offers Tim a job as a labourer. Faye is ecstatic, while Owen is annoyed that he'll still be around and tries to talk Jason out of hiring Tim.

Also, Steve and Lloyd realise they've unwittingly disposed of Flash the tortoise on the tip.

Finally, Katy enjoys spending time with her girlfriends as they plan Steph's 18th birthday at the Bistro.

    Wednesday

Kylie arrives for work in a foul mood, worried about what Gail is going to tell David. When she then loses her rag with a customer, Kylie tells Nick to stick his job and heads to the pub, where despite her condition she proceeds to get drunk.

Stella tries to get Kylie to stop, but when she ignores her and clambers up onto a table, disaster beckons as Kylie falls…

Meanwhile, when Eric overhears Stella moaning that Gloria is clearly taking him for a ride and is just after his money, he is given food for thought.

Elsewhere, Tim starts working for Jason and promises Faye that he'll pop into the café later so they can have their tea together. Faye is delighted, while Anna is uneasy.

Also today, Katy is thrilled when Chesney gives her some cash and tells her to go to Steph's 18th birthday party as she deserves a night out.

Finally, Steve comes up with a plan to replace Mandy's missing tortoise. Lloyd is unimpressed, but he's forced to go along with it.

    Friday

David arrives at Kylie's bedside, distraught that she may lose the baby. Kylie regains consciousness and lies to David, telling him that she had a few drinks because she was missing him.

As Gail fumes at this deceit, Kylie suddenly takes a turn for the worse. Will Gail tell David the truth - that the baby he's so scared of losing may not be his?

Meanwhile, Eric has seen Gloria in her true colours and now turns his attention to Eva. As she pours her heart out to Eric about her bad luck with men, Eric assures her that she'll meet Mr Right very soon.

Elsewhere, when Tim presents Faye with a new laptop, Owen is furious. Will Anna overrule him and allow Faye to keep it?

Also, when Steph's DJ lets her down, Katy suggests Ryan does the gig instead. Ryan is thrilled.

Finally, Jenna catches Lloyd showing Steve the replacement tortoise he's bought. Will he be forced to come clean to Mandy?

Gail is horrified as she realises that Nick could be the father of Kylie's baby.

Kylie's had surgery for a ruptured spleen, and as they wait for news, Nick begs Gail not to tell David. As David frets about the baby, will Gail reveal the horrible truth?

Meanwhile, Eric's had enough of Gloria as she flicks through holiday brochures. Soon afterwards, he presents Eva with a beautiful necklace. She's flattered, but when Eric tells her that he's not going to marry Gloria and wants to travel the world with her instead, how will she respond?

Elsewhere, when Faye rejects Owen's attempts to build bridges, he admits to Izzy how much he wants to be Faye's dad but feels pushed out by Tim. Izzy has a go at Anna for failing to support Owen and letting Faye treat him like dirt. How will Anna react?

Also, Steve suggests painting the new tortoise the same colour as Flash, then Mandy will never know.

Finally, at Steph's party, Katy's friends make a play for Ryan the DJ - but Ryan only has eyes for Katy.

Coronation Street's Gloria Price will receive an unexpected shock courtesy of her lover Eric Babbage, according to reports.

Gloria (Sue Johnston) will be left shocked when Eric (Timothy West) suddenly dies, according to the Daily Star. However, further surprises are in store when Gloria discovers that the carpet salesman was secretly married - and that his widow Dorris can't wait to get her hands on Eric's money.

When Gloria confronts Dorris, saying that Eric never mentioned her, she replies that he thought she would "cop the lot" and take all his money if he filed for divorce.

"That man could squeeze a pound coin until the Queen's eyes bled. I hope he got his money's worth out of you," she reportedly tells Gloria.

Gloria later becomes even more upset upon revealing that she has booked a lavish funeral costing £4,000 for Eric.

"He can do a running jump if he thinks I'm going to give him a lavish send-off," she apparently says. "Dorris said she would give him a bog-standard send-off. He can settle with that."

West recently explained that Eric becomes drawn to Gloria's granddaughter Eva as he thinks they are both "lost souls".

Coronation Street airs Eric's first scenes on Monday, February 18 at 7.30pm on ITV

Tyrone Dobbs's worst nightmare comes true on Coronation Street this evening (February 13) as Kirsty's false allegations result in formal charges being brought against him.

The Weatherfield mechanic faces tough questioning in tonight's episode as the police demand answers over his attempt to kidnap baby Ruby.

When it comes to the crunch, Tyrone (Alan Halsall) hears that the authorities cannot yet charge him with child abduction, but will continue to fully investigate the situation.

However, Tyrone's relief is short-lived as it turns out that there's now enough evidence to charge him with one count of ABH and two counts of assault following Kirsty's lies. With a court trial looming, will Tyrone be able to clear his name?

Coronation Street's Gloria Price struggles to get back on good terms with her family as she returns to the cobbles this evening (February 18).

Gloria (Sue Johnston) shocks everyone as she arrives back at The Rovers with new fiancé Eric in tow, hoping that Stella has now forgiven her for the 'Pub of the Year' fiasco.

Deciding to give Gloria a chance, Stella and Eva join her and Eric for a meal at the Bistro. However, tensions rise when Gloria hears about Nick and Leanne's disastrous Christmas Day wedding.

Gloria is quick to give her opinion on the matter, rebuking Eva for her role in ruining the big day. She then turns her attention to Peter by giving him a piece of her mind, disrupting a cosy meal that the bookie is enjoying with Carla.

Although Gloria reckons she's just looking out for her family's best interests, nobody is pleased with her for stirring up trouble. Will Gloria ever change her ways?

Corrie's Gail McIntyre will discover the full story behind Kylie Platt's one-night stand when her guilty son Nick confesses all, it has been revealed.

Tonight's (February 18) double bill sees Kylie forced to tell Gail that she cheated on husband David with a mystery man at Christmas, though she protects his brother Nick (Ben Price) by failing to reveal his involvement.

However, it has now been confirmed that Nick is responsible for revealing the whole truth to Gail (Helen Worth) this Friday (February 22) when she vows to tell David about Kylie's secret.

Nick informs a stunned Gail: "You can't tell him, because it was me. The bloke Kylie slept with, it was me!"

The Bistro boss's confession comes as pregnant Kylie is lying in hospital with a ruptured spleen after falling from a table while drunk at The Rovers.

Paula Lane, who plays Kylie, told itv.com: "Gail gets to the point where Kylie and David are in the hospital and he's consoling her and looking after her, and Gail just thinks, 'I can't watch this any longer and I have to tell him'. That's obviously when Nick makes the decision to reveal it was him."

Gail is eager to tell David (Jack P Shepherd) that Kylie's unborn baby might not be his, but she is torn as she doesn't want to cause a rift between her two sons.

Lane added: "This storyline, as I've said in interviews, I think is my time to earn my stripes here. I just hope it comes across great to the audience. It's getting more tangled up as each block of scripts comes out. It's just going to explode, isn't it? It's a ticking time bomb."

Coronation Street continues tonight (February 18) at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
