    Eastenders Spoilers 22nd - 25th April

    Monday

Jay Brown is struck by last-minute nerves and declares he can't run the London Marathon

Can his training buddy Honey Mitchell persuade him to change his mind?

(In a first, the soap announced it will air real-life footage of actors Jamie Borthwick (Jay) and Emma Barton (Honey Mitchell) completing the course in character. Jay is running the 26.2 miles in honour of brain tumour victims, including his late wife Lola Pearce-Brown.)

As the day of the London Marathon dawns the Square is abuzz with excitement.

But Jay has other things on his mind.

The widower's world was recently turned upside down when escort Nadine Keller made the shock announcement that she's pregnant with his baby.

Feeling overwhelmed, Jay decides he can no longer take part in the Marathon.

But after all those months of gruelling training, Honey refuses to take no for an answer and manages to get him to the start line.

Meanwhile, disaster strikes back on the Square when Britney Wainwright is involved in a bike accident.

The wayward teen, who has been living under the foster care of Whitney Dean and Zack Hudson, needs urgent medical assistance.

Billy Mitchell drives the trio to A&E, but in doing so is delayed getting to the Marathon start line to cheer on Honey and Jay.

After a mad dash across town, Billy eventually arrives - but his streak of bad luck continues.

Later, Phil Mitchell and granddaughter Lexi Pearce arrive at the end of the course - will they see Jay and Honey cross that finish line?

Following their trip to hospital, Whitney and Zack are shocked to discover Britney has Type 2 Usher Syndrome.

The doctors explain the condition will lead to sight and hearing impairments, which will have implications for the youngster's future.

Will this news affect Whitney's decision to foster Britney?

Also, traumatised Yolande Trueman is suffering in the wake of Pastor Gideon Clayton's sexual assault.

The predatory cleric subjected Yolande to a horrific attack during their charity fundraiser, which has left her feeling shaken and scared.

Too afraid to tell Patrick what happened, Yolande surprises everyone by announcing she's going to take an extended break from the church.

Pastor Clayton feigns surprise at the announcement and joins forces with Patrick to persuade Yolande not to abandon her faith.

    Tuesday

Whitney Dean is under pressure to come clean to Zack Hudson

The couple's relationship has been under strain since Whit arrived back in Walford with Britney Wainwright in tow. Whitney declared her intentions to foster Brit, but hasn't told Zack the full story of what went down in Milton Keynes.

Following the devastating discovery that Britney has Type 2 Usher Syndrome, Whitney is keen to know more about the condition.

Fearing what all this stress is doing to their unborn baby, Zack suggests they enroll Britney at the local GP, but Whitney panics her secret will be exposed and makes out she's already done it.

Later, Whitney tries to persuade Sonia Fowler to skip the checks required to register Britney as a patient.

But when that fails she's forced to haul Britney's mum Keeley to the Walford surgery to sign her daughter up.

Can she trust Keeley to keep schtum?

Later, Whitney ends up missing her baby scan when Britney's school call to say her hearing aids aren't working.

Zack is furious to find out Whitney has put Britney before their baby and a heated row breaks out between the pair.

Tensions continue to mount at Sonia's dinner party, before concerned Lauren Branning pulls Whitney aside and insists either she tells Zack the whole truth about Britney's fostering - or she will!

Meanwhile, Jay Brown invites pregnant Nadine Keller over to his to discuss their future.

But their meeting turns sour when Jay brings the paternity of Nadine's baby into question.

Appalled by the accusation, Nadine insists Jay is the father and lets slip she's expecting a little girl.

The news tugs on Jay's heartstrings, and he hands Nadine over a wad of money - promising to be there for her and their unborn child.

Elsewhere, Yolande Trueman's nightmare at the hands of Pastor Clayton is far from over.

Gripped by terror, Yolande has been too afraid to tell the police the predatory cleric subjected her to a horrific sexual assault.

As she reluctantly faces Gideon at prayer group, Yolande is further troubled by him invading her personal space.

Returning home, Yolande discovers Patrick Trueman has prepared them a romantic supper for two.

But as her partner makes loving advances towards her, Yolande is triggered by memories of her attack and rushes out leaving Patrick puzzled by her extreme reaction.

    Wednesday

Whitney Dean and Lauren Branning's friendship is on the verge of total collapse

Pregnant Whit still hasn't told boyfriend Zack Hudson the full story about her fostering Britney Wainwright and Lauren is fuming!

Feeling bad for Zack, Lauren puts pressure on Whitney to 'fess up, but she wants a few more days.

As the ladies exchange tense words in the Minute Mart, Zack overhears and demands to know what's going on.

Quick thinking Whitney manages to come up with a convincing cover story, but Lauren is appalled by her friend's lies and tempted to out her big secret.

Later, Whitney and Lauren encounter a downtrodden Britney, who admits she had a nasty run in with some bullies on the way to Walford High.

Zack reckons they should let things lie, but Whitney isn't having it and seeks out the bully in question.

The protective foster mum confronts the tormentor, but ends up making things worse for Britney who gets teased about Whitney's intervention.

Meanwhile, Jade Masood receives a letter from Dean Wicks asking her to visit him in prison.

Dean is currently languishing in a cell after being framed for the murder of Keanu Taylor by the Walford Six - aka Stacey Slater, Linda Carter, Denise Branning, Kathy Cotton, Suki Panesar and Sharon Watts.

The ladies devised a plan to make Dean the prime suspect, which included Stacey planting the murder weapon in his apartment.

Now Dean wants to see his daughter before she flies to Pakistan, but the Slaters are totally against the idea.

After receiving backing from Jean Slater, Stacey is able to convince Jade not to visit her 'killer' dad.

The family then throw the teen a leaving party in The Vic, but a comment from Avani Nandra-Hart, gives Jade second thoughts about abandoning Dean when he needs her most.

Meanwhile, Nadine Keller is back in the Square.

The expectant escort visits Jay, Honey Mitchell and Callum Halfway to apologise for upsetting Lexi Pearce.

The youngster, who lost her mum Lola Pearce-Brown to cancer last year, was devastated to learn Nadine is expecting a baby with her stepdad following their one-night stand.

Jay was initially reluctant at the idea but is now fully committed to supporting Nadine and their unborn daughter.

Realising Jay's devotion, Nadine is consumed with guilt. But what does she feel bad about?

    Thursday

Incarcerated Dean Wicks protests his innocence to daughter Jade Masood

Dean is in prison after being framed for the murder of Keanu Taylor by the Walford Six - aka Stacey Slater, Kathy Cotton, Linda Carter, Denise Branning, Suki Panesar and Sharon Watts.

After Linda gave a false and damning statement to the police about Dean, officers searched his flat and discovered the meat thermometer, which was planted by Stacey and used to fatally stab Keanu.

Dean knows he's been stitched up for a crime he didn't commit, and now needs to prove it to his one last supporter - his daughter Jade.

On the day of her intended departure to Pakistan, Jade decides to see her dad one last time.

Jean Slater accompanies the teen to the prison, where they meet with Dean - who's very determined to make his voice heard.

Once again, he vehemently denies any involvement in Keanu's grisly murder. However, Dean can't bring himself to admit he tampered with Jade's medication to stop her leaving Walford and claims he's innocent of that charge too.

Will Jade fall for her father's lies and agree to help him?

Or has dastardly Dean's fate already been sealed?

Back on the Square, Jay Brown is trying to play happy families with Nadine Keller and Lexi Pearce.

Keen for the pair to bond before the arrival of Nadine's baby, Jay treats his stepdaughter and former fling to lunch at The Vic.

Unfortunately, it's not the harmonious occasion Jay was hoping for when Lexi makes it obvious what she thinks about her late mum's lookalike.

As lippy Lex kicks off, a rift starts to form between her and Nadine.

Can Jay find a way to restore the peace?
