Coronation Street's David Platt fears he has lost his wife Kylie for good this evening (December 28).

Tonight's episode sees Kylie (Paula Lane) fool David and Gail into thinking that everything is back to normal again, but in reality she is secretly planning to leave Weatherfield.

Kylie feels that she no longer deserves David (Jack P Shepherd) following her one-night stand with Nick, so she is ready for a fresh start elsewhere as she heads into a cab with little Max.

When David gets wind of his partner's plans, he begs her to stay and is distraught when she refuses. But can Kylie really bring herself to leave the cobbles?

Coronation Street airs tonight at 7.30pm on ITV1.
