    ITV Christmas schedules

    ITV has released the final details of its Christmas Day schedules.

    Downton Abbey, the festive instalment of Coronation Street and movies Tangled and Toy Story are the biggest draws across the day.

    Disney's Aladdin starts the day at 9.35am, followed by The Nation's Favourite Christmas Song at 11.10am.

    Toy Story airs at 1.15pm, before the Queen's Speech. Another animated movie, Tangled, follows at 3.10pm.

    A You've Been Framed! Christmas special airs at 5pm, while Paul O'Grady's For the Love of Dogs at Christmas airs at 6pm.

    The channel's soaps, Emmerdale and Corrie, air at 5.30pm and 7.30pm respectively.

    Downton Abbey kick starts the evening's entertainment at 8.45pm, followed by Vince Vaughn comedy Couples Retreat at 10.45pm.

    dreadful scheduleing by peter fincham, was he on something at the time. splitting emmerdale into two and putting o grady and some dog in between? crazy. this will damage emmerdale and this is a shame because by all accounts its going to be a cracker!!!!

    ITV has unveiled a new festive trailer for its Christmas highlights.

    Downton Abbey, Take Me Out, Coronation Street and Paul O'Grady's For the Love of Dogs are among the shows which feature in the promo.



    Jonathan Ross's Christmas special, Celebrity Juice and Stephen Fry drama Doors Open also make an appearance in the trailer.

    Tangled, Toy Story and Toy Story 2 are among the films that will air on ITV1 over the Christmas period.

    The BBC has also released a promo to support its own Christmas TV lineup.
