Coronation Street is lining up a new relationship crisis for Fiz Stape and Tyrone Dobbs.
The pair clash bitterly next week when Tyrone (Alan Halsall) realises that Fiz doesn't seem to treat their daughters the same way, which sets the stage for the couple's next big storyline.
The trouble begins when Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) angrily blames Ruby for an accident on the girls' trampoline that injures Hope.
Fiz's harsh attitude leaves Tyrone concerned that she seems to be favouring her own biological daughter, rather than looking at the situation objectively.
Later that day, the situation gets even worse as the trampoline is mysteriously set on fire.
Fiz initially blames Beth Sutherland (Lisa George) for the scary incident as she'd previously made snide remarks about the trampoline, plus they've hardly seen eye-to-eye recently.
Despite this, there may well be more to this situation than meets the eye, as it becomes clear that one of the girls may actually be responsible.
As accusations fly, Fiz and Tyrone don't see eye to eye – and Fiz goes too far by suggesting that Ruby may have inherited a violent streak from her unstable mum Kirsty Soames.
With plenty of ammunition to argue back, Tyrone helpfully reminds Fiz that Hope's serial killer dad John Stape was even more deranged, so she could easily have dodgy genes too!
Can Fiz and Tyrone get past their childish bickering and do what's right for their daughters?
Speaking to Digital Spy recently, Corrie's producer Kate Oates explained: "We're going to have some nice stuff for Fiz and Tyrone next year. I think what's going to be interesting with those two is that they're a very loving and committed couple and they both love each other's children, but they are not the natural parents to each other's children.
"So if Ruby does something bad, how does Fiz feel about that? And if Hope does something bad, how does Tyrone feel about that? In modern blended families, sometimes there are different responses.
"I'm looking forward to exploring that, because even though they're very committed, that can cause problems."

Well this is more of a realistic storyline
Coronation Street airs Fiz Stape's exit storyline next week as the popular character waves goodbye to the cobbles for a while.
Fiz will soon be disappearing from our screens as Jennie McAlpine, who plays her, has spent the past few weeks in Australia for ITV's I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!
Due to Corrie filming its scenes so far in advance, Fiz has stayed on our screens in recent weeks – but an upcoming storyline sees her realise that she'll have to spend Christmas away from her family.
Next Monday, Fiz receives news that her mum Cilla is in hospital after a fall and needs her over Christmas.

The worrying development comes just after Fiz and Tyrone have made up after a furious row over their daughters Hope and Ruby.
Tyrone, Hope and Ruby end up surprising Fiz with an early Christmas dinner to make up for her being away on Christmas Day.
Fiz is moved as the girls also sing 'Little Donkey' to her in a touching family moment.
Jennie finished in fourth place on I'm A Celebrity last week, just missing out on a place in the final.
She'll make her return to Corrie in early 2018.

Coronation Street's Fiz Stape infuriates Tyrone Dobbs next week as she bitterly opposes his new friendship with Abi Franklin.
Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) struggles to contain her jealousy when it becomes clear that Tyrone and Abi are getting along very well while working together at the garage.
When Abi starts working as the Street's latest mechanic, she strikes up an easy rapport with Tyrone – much to Fiz's displeasure as she watches on from afar.
Fiz's concern increases further when she hears that Abi used to be a heroin addict, so she warns Tyrone to keep her away from the kids because of her dodgy past.

With Tyrone sticking up for Abi, it seems that Fiz might be fighting a losing battle here – so she comes up with Plan B by asking Hope to spy on Abi and report back to her.
It's not long before Hope has some juicy gossip to share, as she spots Abi giving Tyrone a friendly kiss on the cheek later in the week.
Livid when Hope passes this on, Fiz gives Tyrone a second warning to keep Abi away from the kids – and not to snog her in future!
Tyrone is also appalled when mischievous Hope then lets slip that Fiz refers to Abi as "the heroin addict", which only fuels the existing tensions.

Later in the week, Hope strikes again by causing even more trouble when Fiz's childhood friend Kim Vaughan stays over at her place for the night.
Even though Kim is gay, there's still drama in store when Hope cheekily tells Tyrone that Fiz had a man to stay over and asked her to spy on daddy.
With no signs of a resolution between Tyrone and Fiz, is listening to Hope so often causing them more harm than good?
Maybe a fling between Tyrone and Abi will lead to Fiz leaving to stay with her mother whilst Jenny goes on maternity leave ....
