Gina is unsure what to do with this new piece of information, Casey tells Brax he’s done with school and Marilyn gives Danny tea and sympathy. Meanwhile, Sasha lends an ear to Casey as a friend.

Monday episode 5551 - 2/07/12

Xavier’s worried his use of the police database will see him booted out of the academy. John asks Emerson to go easy on Xavier, but revealing that Xavier blabbed about the incident only makes the situation worse. Meanwhile, Sasha’s bemused at how busy Xavier is, caught between Summer Bay and Goulburn, and suggests it’s a bit of a double-life. Later, Emerson lets Xavier off with a stern warning, much to Xavier’s relief. But he drops a bombshell on John – he wants to separate work and his personal life by moving to Goulburn permanently.

Leah’s surprised Ruby hasn’t seen an obstetrician yet and makes her promise she will. When Leah pushes even harder, Ruby reveals she lied about the pregnancy. Leah’s shocked and implores Ruby to end the emotional blackmail.

Sid tells Indi he wishes he’d been there for her more and gives her a cheque to cover her debt with Romeo. Indi tells later tells Ruby she’s paid her debt to Romeo and agrees to leave them alone. Indi tells Ruby she’s won. Marilyn is delighted to find Indi’s missing wedding ring but Indi decides not to put it back on.

Roo’s apprehensive when it seems Alf isn’t keen on Harvey and Lottie staying permanently. Marilyn suggests Alf’s hesitation might have something to do with the fact that Roo and Harvey are all over each other but when Roo tries to address this with her father, she realises Alf’s really concerned about her lack of planning ahead.

Tuesday episode 5552 - 3/07/12

John asks Xavier to think about his decision to move before shattering Gina with the news. However, Xavier’s got his mind made up and breaks it to Gina, sending her spinning. John tries to hose her down, reminding her it’s a rite of passage to leave home, but Gina doesn’t want a bar of it. Meanwhile, Jett is calling every ‘Richard Bozic’ in the phonebook, growing increasingly frustrated. As a parting gift to Gina, Xavier gives her Richard Bozic’s address from the database. As Jett comforts her, Gina wonders what to do with the new piece of information.

Casey bonds with his father and looks forward to their road trip together. Meanwhile, Natalie warns Brax that Casey hasn’t shown up at school and Brax pulls his brother away from Danny. Brax is stunned to learn that Casey plans to leave school in a couple of months to go on the trip. Brax has a go at Natalie for not giving him a heads-up on Casey’s plans but Natalie says she has an obligation of confidentiality and assures Brax can’t sway her. Later, Natalie encourages Brax not to give up on Casey and they realise they’re on the same page.

Danny continues to display his charm with Marilyn and she invites him to share some cake in the house. During their pleasant conversation, Marilyn encourages Danny to concentrate on embracing the positive and moving forward with his life. Later, Alf warns her against getting involved with a Braxton that’s spent ten years in gaol.

Sasha tries to make sure everything’s cool with Casey. While he says the crush freaked him out at first, he agrees to have a chat with her. They seem to be back on a good level.

Wednesday episode 5553 - 4/07/12

Casey is disappointed when Danny puts off their trip and agrees to discuss it with Natalie. Off the back of this, Natalie hints to Brax what happened and he’s fed up with his father’s manipulation. He goes straight to Danny and offers him a deal – $50,000 for him to leave them alone forever. Danny tells Brax he’s not going to be told what to do, showing a flash of anger. Afterwards, Brax finally gets through to Casey and he agrees to sit his trials.

Natalie offers to use some of her contacts to help Gina track down Richard Bozic. She’s concerned to find Jett ringing strangers, and behind his back she identifies the correct number – and hides it from him. Natalie comes back to Gina with information on Richard, which Gina is hesitant to act on. Afterwards, she finds Jett’s determination to find his father has turned to helplessness and feels unsure of what to do. Natalie’s surprised when Gina explains she’s decided against giving Jett the information, prompting Natalie to reveal her mother left her when she was young and suggests. From her own experience, Natalie believes that Jett would want to know.

Bianca seems to be back on track but realises Heath’s been avoiding her. From Heath’s point of view, he hasn’t felt comfortable being around since she ran to Liam during her psychotic episode. Later, Liam visits and he and Bianca affirm the end of their marriage – but when Heath arrives he misinterprets their closeness as the opposite. Later that night, the baby has a fit and a terrified Heath watches on, afraid for his son.

Thursday episode 5554 - 5/07/12

Sid explains Bianca and Heath’s baby needs an urgent blood transfusion. Bianca’s Incompatible, so it’s a race to find out who is. Sid reveals the tests show Heath is a match, but needs further testing to ensure it’s safe. Bianca finally gets Heath to tell her what’s irritating him, and dispels his concerns about her and Liam. Having reached a good place, they decide on their baby’s name – Rocco. But Heath doesn’t want Rocco to be tarred with the Braxton surname. Heath’s cleared for the transfusion and gives blood to his son. They’re all relieved when Sid says they expect a full recovery.

Irene hears of Bianca’s emergency and wants to join her in hospital, so Liam offers to hold down the fort at the diner. He finds himself needing Indi’s help and they get to talking about each of their exes. They realise they’re both moping and make a pact to move on with their lives, helping each other. Afterwards, Liam makes the decision to throw his wedding ring away.

Dex helps April keep her eye on her studies through all the turmoil. Sid’s impressed by the support he’s giving her but questions whether he’s giving enough attention to his own studies. However, his concern after receiving a letter from uni suggests his father might have been spot-on.

Romeo returns from his sales conference with a cute present for the baby that strikes a nerve with Ruby. When Leah realises Ruby still hasn’t come clean about her fake pregnancy, she urges Ruby to tell Romeo the truth – or she will. Later, Romeo’s in the celebrating mood after being cleared for surfing but Ruby, wracked with guilt, is on the verge of losing it. Romeo soon incorrectly infers that she lost the baby. On the receiving end of Romeo’s affections, it’s a story Ruby can’t help but go along with.

Friday episode 5555 - 6/07/12

Romeo comforts Ruby in what he believes is the aftermath of losing the baby, later sharing the sad news with Alf and Roo. Hearing about the ‘miscarriage’ from Roo, Leah once again heads straight to Ruby, where she finds a broken girl begging for the opportunity to fix things. Meanwhile, Alf encourages Romeo to talk to Ruby. After some soul-searching from Ruby, she finally admits to Romeo there never was a baby. Romeo leaves their caravan, leaving a distraught Ruby crying on the ground.

April is thankful for Dex’s help in her exam preparation but wonders if he should be focusing on his own uni work. Sending April on her way to her exam, Dex shares with Irene that he’s gotten a final warning to hand in a late assignment by the end of the day. Lottie’s overheard Dex’s plight and steps in to rescue him. Dex is keen to procrastinate but Lottie takes a muchly needed hardball approach. April returns, feeling good about her exam, and Dex gets even more whip-cracking.

Harvey returns from his visit to Mel with a disappointing result – she’s feeling more on top of things and wants to take Lottie with her when she moves to the city. Harvey breaks the news to Lottie, who tries to cover how upset she is.
